Either way, it's all good.

Thanks.

Another question if you dont mind : When I convert the sound files, They are only 24 kHz.
Is there something to do to get a "normal" frequencie like 44 kHz or better 48 kHz?

Forget about it, I found the answer.

No need to stress out man. I said I found the answer.
When converted, some files were 24 kHz that's what confused me at first. But everything is fine.
And don't worry, I know at last what a frequency means.
Thanks dude, and sorry if I pissed you off.

Deadly Premonition
composer: Riyou Kinugasa, Takuya Kobayashi, Hiromi Mizutani
year: 2010
platform: Xbox 360
tracks: 114
format: XMA, TAK
quality: 44,100 Hz stereo/6ch

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://tinyurl.com/36gpbja)
658 MBNote: bgm14 is no "real" multichannel track but consists of six mono tracks. I don't know how to deinterleave a multichannel XMA. ;)

u can just make six seperate tracks usin an audio editing program then save the files to ur specifications.

I'm pretty surprised anyone else remembers Siege of Avalon, much less pulled the music from it. Thanks Alpha, you've made this lurker's day.

Hey! Sorry if you already answered the question, but I cannot play .GENH files (PSP), even with the vgstream plugin. Can you help me, please?

Anyway, very good job, I really appreciate your hard work! Keep going on! :)

Sorry, but it is still not working, even after a full re-installation of Winamp and plugins. Any idea?

Hm, you could upload a file for me to check... Also, be sure to have the latest vgmstream version, there are updates almost every week and the last one I had had some major problems.
I hope you put the in_vgmstream.dll in C:\Programs\Winamp\Plugins\ ;) To check if the plugin in activated, go to Winamp preferences and look under "Input" - you should find the plugin there. If not, you don't have the dll in the plugins folder. Also, if you get an error message when running Winamp you haven't put the external dlls in the right place.
I found the solution while trying to install Winamp on another drive. Works perfectly now, thanks a lot for your help, Alpha, and keep on ripping! ;)

Hello...

Im new to this music extraction. I downloaded the vgmstream plugin for winamp, external dlls for my comp, Dolphin, and Tales of Symphonia (ToS) NTSC .iso. I extracted all of the files from the .iso.

Now what are the file formats for audio and video that vgmstream can play? The ToS has this .h4m, i tried to play it on winamp but it didnt work....

Someone help please?... Is there an easy guide that you can tell me?

Thanks... and im willing to upload the rips to this site.. :]

You have to run the tool using the command prompt.

Yes. Run > CMD

Easiest way to do this without multiple posts is to do the following:

1. Run > CMD
2. Drag and drop the "h4m_audio_decode.exe" on to the cmd window
3. Drag and drop one of the H4M files on to the cmd window
4. Then drag and drop the same H4M file on to the cmd window and change the extension from .h4m to .wav at the end
5. Press enter.

I can't write batch scripts sorry :(

I know Alpha could quickly throw one together in less than 10 seconds to do this though :)

C:\Documents and Settings\HP>"C:\Documents and Settings\HP\Desktop\h4m_audio_dec
ode02\h4m_audio_decode.exe""C:\Documents and Settings\HP\Desktop\ToS\MOV\as1.h4m
""C:\Documents and Settings\HP\Desktop\ToS\MOV\as1.wav"
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I tried that but it gave me that, is that correct?.

hey thanks again... :]
