Is this the complete soundtrack?

I hate to piss on everybody's piano, but please don't call it the "Original Soundtrack" if it's not.. you know, the Original Soundtrack. It gives off the impression that it's a CD released officially by Nintendo.

I mean...he does have a point: it's kinda misleading to have the 'Club Nintendo' mark on there if it didn't actually come from Club Nintendo like the last one. I mean we're all happy you guys are taking the effort to get this stuff to people, but try to be more up-front about it so those of us who are audiophiles can know exactly what this is. Thanks.

Well... he was upfront about it... he explicitly said it was a game rip and even indicated it on the album art... how much more obvious does it have to be...?

The only thing I think the ripper was trying to do was being as close to authentic with the album art as possible. Yeah, it's not the real deal, but give the guy credit for his efforts.

Japanese Club Nintendo members have a new choice for their points, starting tomorrow (5/27) the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack will be available on the Club Nintendo Rewards section. The soundtrack includes two discs and 70 songs performed by the "Mario Galaxy Orchestra."

This soundtrack will normally go for 500 points. However, if you register Mario Galaxy 2 by the end of December the disc will cost you only 300 points.

We hope this nice Club Nintendo reward hits other countries soon.

I do appreciate all the effort put into this (Not listened yet, I want to wait 'till I play the game first, get the experience Nintendo wants me to have), I just got a shocked while browsing the forum and seeing it titled the "Original Soundtrack", only to be let down to find another game-rip thread.

To be fair until an official recording soundtrack is released, all 320 version are misleading anyway, as the Wii disc files are about 202 at best.

So the most honest rips are those stating VBR tracks.

you know what i say fuck the complainers. I'm glad this was released even when Galaxy 2 just just came out. I finished the game (Story wise) in 4 days cause of work but still i enjoyed the hell out of it. and the music is no better. I'm trying to get my mom to buy this for the kids back at home. they would love it.
