Is there one available yet? If not, I'm sure this is something that everyone will want... especially me.

I think however, this is the first Mario game (after SMG and NSMBWii) for the Wii that has NOT been leaked, so we will have to wait until a little later. Maybe Friday (tomorrow) for any streams. If not, then, we'll just have to wait until Sunday.

I'm eagerly awaiting this too, but it won't turn up for a while - the game isn't out yet, nor has it leaked. No harm in beginning the hype a little early though ;)

I'm honestly surprised that Nintendo hasn't done an official soundtrack for this game like they did for the first SMG.

TimeFire

I'm sure they will. They just probably won't release it until a few months after the game comes out. Remember how Galaxy 1 came out in November 2007, and the soundtrack came out in January 2008?

I am a bit surprised as well. Maybe the game has a bunch of recycled music from the first game?

I sincerely hope that is not the case or I'll be very disappointed.

Another user on YouTube has begun posting the soundtrack from the game without sound effects, so a direct rip. Either he's ripping it himself or it's on the internet somewhere.

http://www.youtube.com/user/WiiC24

I'm hoping to post it on there myself, but haven't found a rip anywhere so far.

If there are any variations of themes in which the theme still plays, but changes, such as the Fire and Icy versions of Shiverburn Galaxy (i.e. Freezeflame Galaxy's music), if you find a rip, can you (if you know how) seperate them?

Surely someone with a preview disc can manage to rip the BRSTM files off the disc. If I could get hold of those files I'd be able to make a 320 MP3 soundtrack to upload here.

Thanks for the link to the Trailer Music. Been looking for a clearer copy of this song for a while that didn't have the actual gameplay sound effects in it.

Hey people,

I’ve just compiled a complete soundtrack from Yokota's (?) YouTube OST videos.
It’s not excellent, but it’s all that we have for now.

Go there to get it: Thread 76298

(For those who only had the first 44 tracks, here are the missing files: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=01YPM1LR)

Hey people,

Ive just compiled a (possibly) complete soundtrack thanks to Mahito Yokotas YouTube OST videos.
Its not excellent, but its all that we have for now.

Its directly taken from YouTube, totals 44 audio files in AAC format, same audio as in original YouTube stuff to avoid additional compression.

And no ID3 tags, sorry.

Enjoy!

Indeed I've realized that. Don't worry I'll make a new pack with the whole stuff.

Edit: I think it's finished now. I have edited my post with the whole soundtrack.

The chances of that account actually being his are probably none.

The account gets made the same day leaks occur, with a press image for a profile picture, and instead of making people purchase the soundtrack he just hands it out on YouTube of all places? Not to mention the poorly Photoshopped Yoshi album cover...

Also the trailer music is clean and in full on the official website, so that's not him either.

You know, you're probably right! I was taken in there. In addition to everything you point out, it's also very 'un-Nintendo' to be so upfront with their content.

Still nice to have a decent rip at this early stage.

Complete? As in... EVERYTHING? Because as it's been said in another Mario Galaxy soundtrack thread, the soundtrack that people have put up is missing some of them, like the Super Mario 64 Slider theme... which is depressing...

Can't wait for your rip! Thank you!

Awesome! Will it be in AAC or MP3 format, or native Wii format for use with, say, Winamp plugins? I'd prefer native Wii format myself, but many others would prefer something they could copy to their iPods, et al.

I was hoping someone would upload these to be winamp compatible as well.

So if anyone who has copied the stream from a disc copy can upload them I'm sure people would love it.
