I'm looking for orchestrated Nintendo songs/collections. To get an idea of what I'm asking for, here's a list of what I already have of this kind:

Smashing... Live! (A collection of songs from Super Smash Bros. Melee performed live by a symphony orchestra.)

Mario & Zelda Big Band Live (Title's a bit self-explanatory.)

Super Mario Galaxy (Dunno if this counts, but its orchestrated at least.)

You know, things of this nature. Any help would be appreciated.

I know the Game Music Concerts have some selections. There are mp3 and lossless links in the forums. Do a search. The VGM music forum is probably your best bet for finding other related stuff.

Alrighty, here's the absolutely, bloody-fantastic Star Fox Assault score:

Try looking for the Animal Crossing movie soundtrack. It used to be uploaded on here somewhere and its orchestral.

I know Mario Galaxy 2 is available as a torrent and Mario Galaxy is partially available on *********.

There's also Hyrule Symphony, an album of symphonic scores from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Keep an eye out for the Star Fox 64 Original Soundtrack; all the music in that game is orchestrated.

Op you and I seem to have similar tastes. I really cannot recommend the aforementioned Symphonic Legends recording enough - very different and awesome arrangements. I just downloaded it and I love it. The "Super Mario Bros Retro Suite" is just divine (and quite playful in parts). The Super Mario Galaxy Suite is cool. And the Zelda track goes for a good 30 mins! Quite similar to "Smashing... Live!", except with a bit more kick.

You might want to check out "Pokemon Reorchestrated" aka "Kanto Symphony". You can preview the tracks here - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/pokemon-reorchestrated-kanto/id569966514 Some tracks are orchestrated (like with a real orchestra) others are electronic. You can also listen to longer previews of selected tracks, here - Kanto Symphony - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAA396DC50D64DADC) My favourite tracks are "Lavender Town" (somewhat creepycool) and "Time and Space" (epic)

Along similar lines is Zelda Reorchestrated, but I haven't delved deep enough to find any particular tracks that suit my taste.

You might also like The Greatest Video Game Music 1 (Thread 98267) & 2 (Thread 122970) - I particularly like "Luigi's Manson", "Tetris", "Super Mario Bros" & "Still Alive" from Portal.

You might also want to check out the Super Smash Bros Brawl OST (Thread 50960). There is a rockin' version of the Airship Theme from Super Mario Bros 3 and the Luigi's Mansion Theme is great as well. If you like Sonic, those themes are cool as well.

The best suggestion I can make is to go through the different threads here, and look in the titles to see whether you think it might be a Nintendo concert/symphony recording. Look up in wikipedia the different concerts, the cross check with these forums to see if you can download. That's what I've been doing and I'm finding great stuff already.
