In the rips I use Nebula Jukebox for the Neo Geo Games, and sometimes Bridge M1. The other two I don't knew about. To edit the tracks, Sony Sound Forge. I use this program to extract audio from cds. Good Luck!

Myrkul, Cool Cool Toon, like Genshitou, Garou Densetsu Wild Ambition and The Motion Picture ~ Garou Densetsu isn't Neo Geo games, I know. However, it have some kind of relationship with the Neo Geo, as "they are" in the SNK's universe. And attach them to Neo Geo is a good way to bring them back. Remembering that Cool Cool Toon, for example, is properly represented in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (another non Neo Geo Game).

I want these CD lossless.
Unfortunately I have none of them in losless, kirarax. Even those I ripped, I extracted in wav and then convert to mp3. I don't kept any of the original wav, sorry.Waht I can do for now is re-rip some of the Neo Geo CD tracks and encode in losless to you.

Many of the Neo Geo sountracks that we have now on the internet are old rips from the original cds. It will be very hard get them in lossless, I think.

But, to have a lossless one here, I re-encoded the BGM of Waku Waku 7's Saturn Version (directly from the original game) and uploaded it. To the people that like lossless and like the game is a good chance.

i know that knighTeen87 know my "unofficial" rips but i don't know if you know them yet.

all my rips are in VBR & V-0 almost all the time.
i use different soft to rip in wav, foo, Bridge, or mame itself.
for games without tracklist, i'll do mine, done with the info i'll found in the game & i sort the tracks as they are sorted in-game.
each soundtrack will come with a .m3u, custom cover & txt.
usually i loop my soundtrack 2 times.

I'm glad that you liked, Maffew. The Art Of Fighting's AST you can find in the folder of the first post, It's a game rip, since that Art Of Fighting don't have an official AST. Art Of Fighitng 3 you can find easily in this forum. But, if knighTeen sended a pm to you, you're in good hands.

Well, I riped the tracks from an original copy of the game, like the other Neo Geo CD rips that I've posted before. I put it in 192 kbps because my upload speed is low. By the way, your rip will be welcome to the fans of the game.

Yes, Fatal Fury's soundtrack here is from the PS2 version. The Fatal Fury's Neo Geo CD version is OST only. And Yes, all the tracks are named and ID3 taged.

Yes, the old one I took from a japanese site named "nicosound", and the mp3 file that I get is 64k only. And it's the OST. Now I have uploaded the arranged version (In the folder there are 2 Choutetsu Brikin'ger soundtracks now). I was thinking in do a new OST using the rom, but don't have much free time to do it in the last months (I have riped only the sound effects to put in that first file).

There's a rom disponible. It was made using the Brikin'ger's version of the WII's Virtual Console. The rom works perfectly in Neo Rage X and Winkawaks 1.61.

A small update today. The old Choutetsu Brikin'ger OST was replaced with a rip did by me, using the Virtual Console's ROM. The quality is better, and in mp3 VBR.

i'd love to see a brawler, plateformer, run'n'gun, fighting, puzzle... Game Music Thread since years.
but if you don't know your shit very well (i mean the knowledge in this kind of games or from editor, Capcom, Data East, Konami...) it's hard to start a so huge thread & i understand it can be discouraging.

but like Rome, these 3 Threads aren't been done in a day :).

Sorry Sapphire_Drew, but I can't help you with these soundtracks. They don't have official realeses, and I don't know how to rip the Neo Geo Pocket's sounds. Maybe someone here know how to do it and help you.

Round Trio RV and Road's Edge are the same game. The name has been changed when the game was realesed in the US. This one and Xtreme Rally (or Offbeat Racer) are requests that I did in the first post. I never found these soundtracks to download.

I've tested the link and it's working. Please try again, if you're using any download manager, try to download with the brownser. Sometimes 4shared has connection problems and the managers don't work.

Yes, but they aren't the same Soundtrack. Choujou Kessen Saikyou Fighters isn't the same of Gekitotsu Card Fighters.

And I would give a warning to the people who have downloaded the Cool Cool Toon's Soundtrack: to have the complete OST, you must download both parts. In the folder, I see that the second part is about 10 downloads less than the first. Check it out!!

When I did this rip, in 2008, I got this information on a Japanese website that is unfortunately is down. I can't confirm if Kazunaka Yamane is the real author of this AST.

ok man. i checked the PSX version's credits and there were nothing about a sound staff. I think it's because they are using the same arranges from NGCD version. so, can you make a small thru and look at NGCD version's credits screen please? Maybe you can find a little information there about the arranger. my rip is ready (including the music from special PSX version opening) also but i don't want to release it with a wrong artist ID tag.

The credits of the Neo Geo CD's version are the same as the AES/MVS versions.
And the site that I got that info is http://bsm.hp.infoseek.co.jp/, but many pages aren't disponible in Web Archive, including the one that have info about the Double Dragon's AST. Sorry man.

Herp Derp. I had realized once I posted my response. Sorry about that. Have you checked out the Art of Fighting PC Engine CD/ Turbografx CD BGM? Personally, I think it sounds better than the Anthology version on the Playstation 2. If you are interested in more SNK games that were arranged on the PC Engine CD, check out Fatal Fury Special. The PC Engine CD versions are different to the Neo Geo version.

Earlier this topic was only for NeoGeo games outside the circle Fatal Fury - KOF - Metal Slug - Samurai Shodown. But I added other soundtracks because of some requests​​.

I changed the name in the first post, but don't know if it's possible to rename the thread.

I've searched a lot for the World Heroes Perfect Original Soundtrack, but never found, as well as several others that I ripped, and I gave up. The one that I'm still seek is the Overtop & Oshidashi Zintrick Soundtrack, since the one I did is actually an AST.

Genshitou is in the folder, and SNES Soundtracks must be in SNES threads, I think.

When did you rip and upload the WHP game rip? This was posted on the Korean forum at 08/03/2010, but the date it was modified at was in 12/21/2007. But even the SFX sound identical. If you did it before that date, then Yamazaki can probably purchase it at Jap-Sai.com or perhaps Amazon using a PayPal account.

I started this thread in 2009, as you can see in the first post. The World Heroes Perfect rip was made in March 3rd 2010 and uploaded in the same day. Last year my files was bloqued and I deleted all of them. I started new uploads last month. Probably they downloaded my files and puted in that forum. As I told, Fight Fever, Breakers Revenge, Burning Fight & Mutation Nation and some others are my rips, no one did it before.
And to show that it is my rip, just look at the title and name of the files. I put all in romaji, and all my rips were made at 192 kbps. All my rips have the album cover and the code inside the tags.

Only for info, I'll list the Soundtracks that I ripped for this thread, using emulators to get the sounds:

I noticed that the "Neo-Geo CD" version in PulStar's album isn't really the "Neo-Geo CD" version, but the original high-quality version of the soundtrack before it was ported to the MVS / AES cartridge. The "Opening" in both versions have some differences. You might want to rip and upload the real Neo-Geo CD version of PulStar's soundtrack, drexanale2k5.

I noticed that the "Neo-Geo CD" version in PulStar's album isn't really the "Neo-Geo CD" version, but the original high-quality version of the soundtrack before it was ported to the MVS / AES cartridge. The "Opening" in both versions have some differences. You might want to rip and upload the real Neo-Geo CD version of PulStar's soundtrack, drexanale2k5.

I compared both versions and the differences are very small. I think the biggest difference is the time of each track, which the Neo Geo CD is much larger than the soundtrack disc.

Hi guys - had a lot of work this and last week but I will be at my home tomorrow and bring back all teh OSTs that peope here want to have ripped.


Please beare in mind though that I have a slow internet connection and quite an old computer so I wont be able to do losless rips...

nice i have this soundtrack to and it's nice soundtrack BUT my copy have some songs error/clicks sounds and i dont know do i have bad copy or it's all copy same quality...
track number is 20 - ZEUS Op.8 APPASSIONATO (Demonic Space-time Castle) "it's not to be lossless MP3 is fine to" if you can upload that somewhere i can compare thouse tracks and then i know do my copy have that errors or all copy of that albums have that error..

There is a problem with the Neo Geo CD version of World Heroes 2. The endings are mixed up.
