Update 2012-05-08: Added links to Mediafire at the end of this thread (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/subarashiki-kono-sekai-world-ends-you-original-72518/#post1989475). Enjoy!

Update 2010-07-21: Uploaded the first soundtrack, again... Wow, I love doing this. =P

Update 2010-07-02: ... I uploaded the wrong soundtrack (uploading the second rather than the first), so here, have both. Both ripped from CD personally!

Update 2010-07-01: I've become considerably more savvy in secure music ripping since I originally uploaded this, so I have re-ripped and re-uploaded it. It now also includes a cue!

Here it is: a small thank you for all the lossless music everyone has uploaded.

Subarashiki Kono Sekai Original Soundtrack
The World Ends With You
Features: FLAC, EAC, log, cue, MD5, front cover scan, PAR recovery

This is a thumbnail of the album cover. Links to higher quality versions are below.

I found the second TWEWY OST (http://forums.ffshrine.org/showpost.php?p=1372736&postcount=2520) in the lossless game music thread (Thread 64743), but not the first, so I've ripped the disc for your consumption!

Now that I've figured out how to get EAC working (http://xanderx.com/2009/12/18/stop-exact-audio-copy-crashing-on-windows-7/), I re-did the rip and have included the log. The files that were ripped were exactly the same (meaning my previous foobar2000 rip was absolutely fine), but I know how paranoid some people are, as I am!

MD5 hashes have been generated so you can check the files haven't corrupted or some other nasty business during the download. I use fastsum (http://www.fastsum.com/) to generate the hashes and verify them, but you can use whatever you like.

I've tagged the soundtrack as best I can, with full titles, artists, performers... I've even scanned the cover!

A recovery file has also been included for you to optionally download. This will allow you to check if the downloaded archive is OK and, if necessary, repair it.

To use the recovery file, download and install something that can handle PAR files, such as QuickPar for Windows (http://www.quickpar.co.uk/). Make sure you associate the software with PAR files. Once the software is installed, make sure the downloaded archive and .par file are in the same folder, then double-click the .par file. Simple!

If you have any trouble opening the files, make sure that your software is up to date. Old versions of WinRAR give errors when the archives are perfectly fine. If in doubt, use 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/).

Hope you enjoy! Again, thanks to everyone for the lossless music uploads. =3

Thanks, I'll check that out.

Update 13:28: So much for robust file transfers! It appears that the upload link has completely died. I'm going to re-upload the soundtrack, but the machine I've been making these on is going in to repair today, so it may take some time.

Bare with me!

All fixed! Hopefully for the last time. Remember that the two parts have to be joined together to form one archive. Instructions are just below the download links in the opening post.

I love this game enough to play it for 150+ hours and import both of the soundtracks! It truly is fantastic. ^^

And thanks for all your support, it makes sharing stuff like this truly worthwhile. =D

Double post to notify anyone interested that the thread has been updated.

The links work fine this time, thanks for the upload and fixing the problems. Using 7z you don't have to "join" the files, or most other archivers since they can recognize or read data to explain next in order from 7z.001 to 7z.002, etc.

You're exactly right, but my re-upload of the files was a hack.

My laptop went in for repair and I didn't have an easy way to re-create the PAR recovery file. As a result, I did a quick and dirty split of the original 7z file (instead of recompressing with a particular split size), and uploaded it.

I wasn't sure if things would just work, so I gave instructions for joining thee files into one. If you are right that all you have to do is name the files in that manner, then there is no need to join the files!

Thanks for the thought regardless. And glad you appreciate the effort. =3

I'm sorry I have to ask this when you've already done so much. >.>

I'm in Saudi Arabia.
This country, stupidly conservative as it is, has blocked god knows how many sites for... well, conservative reasons.
Sites I used to frequent in the US and in Japan are now inaccessible because my VPN isn't compatible with 64-bit Vista. -fail-

Would you mind mirroring the files to another site? I'd appreciate it if you did.

(If you do, please don't use Megaupload... D: It's one of the blocked sites.)

Please help, I don't know what I'm doing wrong..
I just finished downloading the 2nd soundtrack (SKS.7z) and when I try to open it via WinRAR, all sorts of errors come up... then I downloaded recovery file next, but when I use it, I says that nothing needs to be fixed.. What am I doing wrong here?...

Because I love uploading and love you guys, I've uploaded the first soundtrack yet again. Please make it the last..!

@jule, make sure that WinRAR is up to date. Another member had problems with this, and it turned out the WinRAR was an old version, reporting the archive as corrupt when it is actually fine. If you can't update WinRAR, try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org).

Thanks, XanderX!! Problem solved! :)
First thing I did was try to download 7-zip, I was guessing that it's not working because it's .7z.. (which also made me confused because 7z is supported by WinRAR) I Never thought of trying to upgrade my WinRAR, so I posted..

Also, thanks for the soundtracks! I heart TWEWY!!! XD

Thank you for this, man! I've recently got DS, it's my first handheld console after GBA, and this game is the first one I acquired, so getting FLAC music from your upload can't get any better right now!

Thanks a lot for this. No, seriously. One of the sites you linked to, megashares, was unexpectedly fast. ~3.5MB/s on average and maxing near 4MB/s. That's so much better than even MediaFire's speed for me. Sure there is the limited Passports system, but I've never gotten such a high speed on DDL. I will considering using that over MF now.

I couldn't find any living torrents, so thanks again. I love this game's music.

For completion's sake, you could also put the Subarashiki Kono Sekai + The World Ends With You's album art up if you have it, it looks like this: but a lossless scan would be nice too.

Thank you very much for this great OSTs, I already had the mp3s in 320kbps, but I can't live without the FLAC =)
BTW do you know where I can get the Flac version for the LP (Subarashiki Konosekai + The World Ends with You – EP) thanks in advance.

damn, the flac downloads are not letting me get part 3... I was going to get all 3 then reupload at mega.go.nz and post here so that others can get it, since now they're apparently doing "10 downloads of parts per week" and the week's not reset yet for some odd reason.

Edit: also I did try using tor or another proxy and it's apparently the files itself... so that sucks but I go the second one. I'm panning on upping to mega later on once I get both together.
