Aces4839: Odin is incorrect. Although he is one of many non-compulsory summons, he is not missable as you can get his materia at the safe in Nibelheim at any time.

JohnnyMercyside: Shiva and Ramuh are not missable. You can choose to leave the Shiva materia in Priscilla's house when you get it, but can still retrieve it at any point. And although Ramuh may appear to be lost forever if you leave it behind in the chocobo jockey's lounge, it can still actually be dug up later on at Bone Village. As for the one missing from your list, that would be Kjata. If you try to pick up the Kjata materia when your materia inventory is full, then due to a glitch in the game, it is lost forever!

Therefore the correct answers are: Ifrit, Bahamut, Neo Bahamut, Leviathan, Phoenix and Kjata.

I'll go - naturally Cloud does the chocobo racing sidequest but two other characters can too, in the right circumstances. Who are they and how?

Cid and Tifa. I believe the only requirement is to have them in your party, then when the race is about to begin they'll jump out and say something like "hey can I have a go Cloud?"

I'll give it to you, but it's a little more than that. By default, if you have Tifa in your party she'll ask you. If Cid is in your party he'll ask you. If both are in your party Cid will never ask.

Nope, good guess but it's further in the game than that :)

The last unrevisitable location is Sector 8 and the Shinra Building; you only go to Sector 8 once and can never return, and whilst there you can visit the Shinra Building, but is the second and final time you are able to do so.

both of those ARE revisitable. simply dig up the Key to Sector 8 at that place where u can dig (forget where) and you can go to both those areas.

I'm almost certain you're wrong; you dig up the key to Sector 6, and can go to Sector 6 and 7, and can't climb up the wire that brings you to Shinra Inc. Sector 8 certainly isn't revisitable, 95% sure Shinra Inc isn't either.
