Okay, I took everything from found on that ISO recently put up and attempted to make something professional sounding, ala that Fungo dude.

Credit goes to Zack__1987 at Silent Hill 5's forums for posting up the sound files, and uhh... myself for poorly mixing and putting it all together. I'm no pro, so sorry if you find any flubs but I believe it sounds pretty good.

EDIT I forgot I used a few recordings of vocal tracks ripped by other people ("One More Soul to the Call" and Alex's theme, which both weren't on the ISO). Credit goes to those nameless soldiers I completely forgot about for those songs.

EDIT 2: I didn't correct some of the titles, so when you click "16 - Sepulcher", it'll read "Sepulcher phase 1". My bad. Fixed.

In the music folder that was taken from the ISO, there are 35 tracks. Some songs were divided into multiple parts, so I mixed them together to create a single track (Sepulcher and Scarlet's boss themes for example).

And then, for the sake of completion, I went into the ambient noise folder and then fiddled around with those to create the sounds you hear in some areas that don't have music (most notable would be the Hell Descent "song" I stitched together, which came in four or five parts minus the moaning at the end that I found in another folder, and I added myself for the Hell of it). This also applies to the Sewers and Prison "songs".

But for the most part, that's pretty much everything.

Rips are pretty importent when it comes to SH, because most of the time the damn OST's dont have most of the music from the actual game! Infact they're lousy with tracks not in the game atall, not that're they're not good tunes...

Has anyone managed to convert all of the ogg files to a more useable mp3 format? i get errors on most of the files with every program i try that claims to converts oggs.

Yes, thanks for the songs LordStan, and the cool covers, nice job on those :) but what i wanted to do was add all of the files to my ipod, the dialogue, the ambient tracks the cinematics, absolutely everything, the full audio monty.

Can anyone recommend any software that can tackle these files as well?

But I don't think I was able to find the actual dialog tracks, as I wanted to add those to my iPod as well. There's tracks that play for the cutscenes that feature music and sound effects, but no one speaks. Veird.

I like how this russianYulia17 guy on youtube has my earlier mixes, and didn't bother to fix my flubs with the boss names (as I accidentally labeled Sepulcher's theme as Amnions, and so forth).

I pointed that out and even left a video response to the right song, but like a hole in Silent Hill, they are gone now lol.

It's because the OGG's are in 5.1 surround sound. I checked it myself.

All right the music portion should be up in an hour or two. ~600 megs of music. 320 kb/s. MP3. Most of it is ambient, a few tracks have guitar riffs, track 1 is One More Soul to the Call. Most songs have a little beat in it, some more than others, especially the remix tracks. The songs are haunting and make a shiver go down your spine... I don't know the track names for the rest of them so I just left them anonymous.
