Having caught the Goichi Suda / Masafumi Takada bug from listening to the soundtracks of No More Heroes and Killer 7, I've found these rare OSTs and rips. They're not complete, but they're everything I could find. Credits to the site I found them in: http://killer7.3dactionplanet.gamespy.com/.

All I did was compile all the mp3s, verify composers and track names, pack it and upload it. It was a bit of a trouble finding all the correct names for the classical works on F.S.R.'s OST, but definitely worth it.

Well, it wasnt me that ripped the songs or had the OSTs, I merely got them from the site and translated the names and artists, made them into a cohesive whole. I do have access to Flower, Sun, and Rain, but I've never done a rip, but I could try it and find what missing songs the site's webmaster didn't get.

As for the missing OSTs, I've scoured the web to no avail and have no idea where to get them.

Masafumi Takada is one of my favorite game composers and I've been hunting for the OP to Silver Case forever; it is simply gorgeous!

Glad you guys enjoy it, damn true Masafumi Takada's music is awesome. I've been ripping the music from Flower, Sun and Rain, not much progress yet, just managed to find the music files. Now the hard work is listening to all of that jumbled mess and figuring out each song's duration, etc...

By the way,since you seem to be a Suda51 fan,have you by any chance tried your hand a ripping the Killer7 soundtrack? Many tracks featured in the game are,sadly,missing from the OST. There was an Unreleased Tracks unofficial album floating around here,but even that didn't have all the tracks.

I'm reuploading Michigan right now.

Upon acquiring a legitimate copy of the PS2 version of Flower, Sun, and Rain, I set out to rip the music from that game. After all, that was the primary reason I bought it (ever since I heard what the PS2 version of Rhapsody in Blue sounded like compared to the DS version).

The only odd thing is that the game rip of FSR does not include two songs. The first is Tokio Morishima's theme, because for some reason that's not included with the rest of the music. For now, I've supplanted it with the version of the song from the DS game, and also the remix of the Silver Case that plays when Sumio is on the sunken ship. I didn't include that for reasons that may become apparent in a little while.

The version of Crescent [blue moon mix] that is ripped from the game begins abruptly, but from the sample on that one website of Grasshopper's (http://www.grasshopper.co.jp/ghmr/listen050801.html), you can hear that it has a special intro. Now, I've never played through the PS2 version, so I don't know if it plays the intro in-game, but I do know it does in the DS version. I spliced the intro from the DS version of the song and hooked it to the PS2 version. It sounds decent enough, and it's as close as I (or anyone) could get without actually owning Shine.

By the way, most of the music from Flower, Sun, and Rain is said to be done by "Torn." Did you know that Torn is a band with only two members, and their names are Shingo Yasumoto and Masafumi Takada? For some reason I've seen some people say that the title song from FSR was not a Masafumi Takada song, but technically that's not true, since Torn wrote it.

Here's what Spellbreaker,the guy who made this,has to say about it:

This is, unfortunately, a PS2 rip, as you surmised. The CD is impossible to find, so I had to make do with a rip from my own copy of the game.

I felt comfortable referring to this is Shine because it's as close as anyone can get. I kept the sampling rate at 48000 to try to keep the quality as high as I could get it.
There's only one problem with this rip - as I said before,there's several tracks that abruptly cut off before the official ones,making them incomplete,really. So here are the proper official tracks,in all of their 64kbps glory:

All of the other tracks are perfect,and as far as I can tell,are completely identical to the ones on the OST,with the added advantage of great quality.
