Seriously, this is one of the best collections of videogame music I've ever seen. There are SO MANY songs that they finally brought into the SSB soundtrack... Many, many, many nostalgic and favorite but long-lost (to my ears, that is) pieces.

Of utmost importance is that these new instrumentations are EXQUISITE. There is a diversity of instrumentation and electronic instruments that both update and preserve everything that made these songs special in the first place. I'm a life-long music aficionado, perhaps in part because of all the memorable VGM from the early days, and the first tracks (I've only listened through the first 65 tracks thus far...still dl'ing) are very impressive. They didn't skimp on the arrangments a bit. Every note I can ever remember is still there, accompanied with not only every embellishment from the original pieces but with all new sounds and takes on the same material. It's like I'm listening to some of these songs for the first time again, the clarity and originality is honestly and completely brought through.

5/5 for sure. I would say more but you all get the idea.

The problem is that that thread has become far too big and confusing, and half of the posts in it have nothing to do with the soundtrack. The first page is where everything should be, but it seems several links are just on random pages. This is easier.

because Wii discs have way more space than old cd's or dvd's. and some of the files in this music download are like 8 second clips that play when you win or unlock something, things like that. the music is good though =)

The work of the Big SSBB Thread is appreciated. However, Huelen10's collection is fully organized, simple to access, and most importantly, contains every track name tied to every song... no letters system here.

By the way, was pack 6 ever fixed? I still get a download error for pack 6 only.

You should be able to extract them. If you right click there should be something like "extract archive" or "unzip archive." If not, get stuffit expander:

This is the best thing I have ever d/l'ed. Great songs, some obscure (Easton from SML), some redone quite well (King K. Rool, Bramble Blast) and some ripped from the game (Gerudo Valley). And the OW themes from the last four 3D Zelda games (OoT, MM, WW, TP). this is awesome! All in all, a great soundtrack.

Even though I believe some composers may have cross-gamed with the compositions for this game, this is my safest bet until Nintendo coughs up a proper list or something... I assume you used the ones listed on the Dojo and tagged them as such, correct?

I tried to download the pack 9 but it doesn't seems to be working. Can anyone send it to me? ... I know there's other places where I can download the songs included in pack 9 but the songs in this pack are all numbered and if I'd try to download the songs included in pack 9 I'd be lost and it would take forever for me to complete the soundtrack. So if anyone is kind enough to help me out with this issue It would be more than appreciated!
