I hear CDJapan is a great spot, though I've never dealed with them.....yet. And you might want to check out VGMusic too. I've bought a couple CDs from them in the past.

I can whole heartedly recommend CDJapan! I've been using them for years. The CDs themselves are probably cheaper than you'd find on any other website, since you get them straight from Japan. Just to be on the safe side, I always pick the most expensive postage and packaging option (so I usually wait till I've a good few CDs to order!), but this way it is registered, arrives very quickly and is packed VERY well. And every time you buy with them, you get emailed a coupon/voucher thing (like bonus shopper points) to get money off your next purchase!

I've used the following for years -

Cocoebiz.com
Play-Asia.com
Amazon.co.jp
Otaku.com

Don't *ever* buy from eBay - there's a good chance it'll be a fake; and as a rule of thumb - if the price looks to good to be true, it probably is.

I think the best site to buy VGM/J-import CDs is Play-Asia.com. You get a $5 dollar coupon for every $50 you spend that you can use for $50 and up purchases. The cheapest shipping option for a CD is no more than $3 and it will be insured, packaged well, and doesn't take more than a week to arrive. The site is very user friendly with many ways to pay and the customer service is very fast and good.

Just in case you want to buy cds at the store, and not online.
