EDIT: GF here. This Thread is Dead. I've got a new and better thread Here! (Thread 43324) I'm working on getting the entire Torrent that this thread was for at the moment and You can request stuff from it in my new Thread starting the 18th of August. Please use the other Thread from now on. It is just easier for me to only have to check one Thread. Thank you for understanding.

GF

Recently I found a nearly dead torrent of VG Remixes from a bunch of Japanese Artists and managed to get a good sized chunk of it that is usable(About 3 Gigs worth out of 16GB total) and most of it is awesome! So I thought I'd share it with all of you. One note right off the bat, I'm pretty sure that very few of these albums were completely downloaded. As I said, the torrent was pretty much dead so getting anything from it that was playable was I minor miracle in and of itself! I'm currently uploading a collection of all of the artists that I did not get at least five tracks from out of the torrent. Every one I did get at least five songs from is listed below. I'm basically taking requests for which ones you would like uploaded. If you would like more info on any album listed before it is uploaded, let me know. I will bump this thread when I complete each upload and edit the first post with the link address. Also, If anyone has complete versions of any of these Albums that they can upload, I would be greatly appriciative if they would do so=) Thanks=)

Well, this particular set of remixes holds fast to a theme in Japan that is just not seen in America. Squaresoft and Atlus made some pretty earth shattering games for the SNES that never saw light in North America. Let me show you a couple things.

This is live-a-live. It involves taking 8 characters from 8 different time periods and bringing (your 4 favourite) to the final chapter to confront the evil Nael, God of time consumption. It's been translated to english (thank god) by agtp.romhack.net.

This is metal max, a game with customizable robos and whatnot. This and LIVE a LIVE have spectacular sound tracks.

But the real thing about agtp translations is the amazing title known as shin megami tensei. Think pokemon, but incredibly dark and evil. Imagine mafia enslaving creatures to control districts. That's this game. It's an SNES title, and in it you choose your path...whether it be law, chaos, or defeating both and becoming neutral...here's some screens:

One of the most touching games ever created. For the SNES, this game created a sense of realism. The gothic faceless figures throughout the game enhances the chilling storyline. Your pet sacrifices himself to become a powerful demon that dies early on. You MUST play some AGTP games to really get the most out of the japanese doujins. There are many more, too.

You seem to know a lot about it. What did you think of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne?

You seem to know a lot about it. What did you think of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne?

Shin Megami Tensei sequels always follow the same turn based combat system set by the original. And that's a shame because the ps2 can handle some pretty crazy active battle systems (think star ocean 3, valkyrie profile 2), the music in Nocturne is good and the storyline is as well. It is FAR easier than the original. The Shin Megami Tensei I mentioned above is devastatingly hard. Even if you can't beat it, make SURE you play it if you're an RPG fan. Don't buy/rent Nocturne unless you first play the first amazing shin megami tensei. It is a horrifying and beautiful game.

Oh, MAN! These are all MegaUpload! and now they've all been DELETED :(

I really love doujin music and I also like lots of artists who are in this thread since I already have their stuff.

You wouldn't happen to have any Demetori, would you?

May you re upload the sword of justice album and "misc" to a site other than megaupload since megaupload always deletes everything, since they're fail? Thanks!
