Can you upload the Sonic and Non FF Square Enix remixes

I'm collecting the Sonic Remixes first and they should be up sometime later tonight or early tomorrow. After I'm done with the Sonic upload I'll start collecting the Squenix stuff.

Could you describe the doujin GM in more detail? Are they full albums or random tracks?

I would love any of the Rhapsody, Nightwish and Stratovarius you could upload. That would be awesome.

They are pretty much all Random tracks. The Torrent I got them from had the full albums and collections from websites but unfortunately the only seeder was very erratic and I couldn't get much more than about 3GB total out of the full 16GB in two trys at the Torrent=( I'm planning on giving it another go once I get my new Hard Drive and have plenty of room for the whole thing. If I do get it all, I'll be sure to seed it for anyone who wants it too!

edit: all the mp3s are fucked up. They have some jabroni telling me that I'm listening to Nightwish's new album, overlapping the music in the middle of the song. It's just the same with the mp3s I ganked on Limewire earlier. They're all like that.

The 2nd through 5th volumes of MySpace W-Rock have had all of the Files Renamed to the appropriate Titles for them. When I downloaded the songs for the first one, I didn't realize that many of them lacked even the most basic of tags till I was ready to stick them on my iPod! Since then, I've been trying to find the Untagged ones so I can fix that. Also, if I remember correctly, you wanted some songs by DJ Luna Lovegood and The Hermione Crookshanks EXP. There are some songs from them in the 1st and 2nd Volumes, respectfully.

As for recomendations and info on my other Uploads, here goes. The various Artists I upload albums for are mostly Epic/Power Metal(Orchestral/Choral combined with Heavy Metal, usually tells some kind of Fantasy or Epic story) with a few Comedy Artists(Weird Al and Ray Stevens). I also Upload compalations of Quality Remixes of Video Game Music from my vast collection that I've gone through to weed out the badly done ones. The "Inter-Webs" Collections are just a bunch of Weird or Funny Audio Files I've found over time. And, of course, the Wizard Rock. I would probally recomend the "Power Mecha Dragon file, if it is still up, if you want to tryout Power Metal since it has Songs from several artists in it. As for the Remix Collections, Final Fantastic or the Final Fantasy Free File(for other Square-Enix games) might be a good start(I'll try to reupload them by the weekend). Ray Stevens is a Country Music artist that does a lot of Funny songs. I hope that helps.

Thanks for all the Rhapsody albums, I had never heard of them before and decided to try them out...they are now my new fave band and I want to buy all the albums. I tried Sonatica Arctica, and Iced Earth, but they just were not quite the same...Sonatica isn't quite as epic sounding and doesnt seem to have as much symphony and choir, and Iced Earth is a bit too hard/fast for my tastes. I have only heard one Nightwish album, but they seemed pretty good, and have heard no Strativarious. I sort of dropped out of the whole metal scene years ago when Iron Maiden (in my opinion) started turning to repetitive crap, to me the last truly great album of theirs was Seventh Son, although No prayer was decent. Helloween seemed to follow the same path as Maiden and turned to crap with their last few albums before they seemed to have broken up. I never knew there were modern metal groups out there that used symphony and choir and told stories through their music, I absolutely love Rhapsody; its heavy but not too heavy, epic and wonderful. Is there any other groups out there like them that you have? (Nightwish probably is simular but being new to it I have no idea where I should start, the only one I have now is Wishmaster, which was pretty good but not as impressive as Rhapsody). Is stratovarious anything like Rhapsody? Do you know anything about a group called "Fairyland" I keep hearing they are simular to Rhapsody. Another new group (for me) I am really liking is Nox Arcana... anyone have any reccomendations along any of these lines to listen to?

I would recomend Epica then. A couple of their songs get really Heavy but the rest are pretty good. And they use alot of Choral work in their songs. Also, on the subject of Nightwish, I would recomend checking out End of an Era, Once or either of the files I just Uploaded. I'll check around for Fairyland and Nox Arcana, too.

Wow! Thanks a lot Generic Fighter, that's very kind of you. It's funny I was actually wondering how Luca Turelli sounded since he is one of the members of Rhapsody, and from the reviews on Amazon sounds like its great stuff.

I listened to "end of an era", ok I take it back I do like Nightwish now I would love to hear some of those songs not live though. If it's not to much trouble can you tell me what albums the songs are from on this live album?

I also listened to Epica Divine Conspiracy, some a bit too heavy for me, but overall yes I do like it quite a lot . Really the only thing that bothers me is the background deep voice guy trying to be "too heavy" and interrupting too much.
Thanks for putting this great stuff up, you have rekindled my love of metal with these great bands.

Thanks for everything Generic Fighter! Luca Turelli was nice it was sort of like a more laid back version of Rhapsody without quite such a heavy "punch", I still prefer Rhapsody, but this was a very nice change Especially the King of the Nordic Twilight album.

All I have so far of Nox Arcana I am really liking a lot especially the Carnival of Lost Souls album... Something Wicked This Way Comes crossed with heavy metal symphony... awesome.

Epica I was only able to get 2 albums before the links crapped out, but liked what I heard. Can you please re-up: Consign to Oblivion, Phantom Agony, and We Will Take You With Us when you get a chance? No big rush I know it takes time. And also when you get time I would like to hear: Nightwish Dark Passion Play (the link is dead on this one too). Again, no rush just when you find the time. I really appreciate all you have uploaded and showing me that there are some really good metal bands still going strong.

Now I shall go off to recuperate from this accursed flu bug, and listen to Power of the Dragonflame for about the 20th time. :)

Thanks GF! I think I got all of the power metal collection , just havn't gotten a chance to listen yet. Thanks for The Iron Maidens, I actually saw the cover to the album before in a Iron Maiden book with Derrick Riggs paintings (the cover is an official derrick Riggs painting on that album) so have been curious about that one for a while, it's really not half bad. I gave a listen to Blind Guardian, and Kamelot as well pretty good stuff especially Kamelot.
I was wondering after reading up on Rhapsody if you had any of the mini ep's or singles such as holy thunderforce, and the wizards symphony? And would you know of anywhere that I can view the actual pages to the special edition digipacks for their albums? I am dying to see just how special they may be because they go for a crap load of money now (especially my favorite one: Power of the Dragonflame....$55 YIKES!) I am a completist and packaging freak though and now that I have seen a tiny peak at something with more packaging (the digipacks) I simply cannot settle for a regular cd release so I will have to save my pennies. Sorry I hadn't replied in a while been looking desperately for work, so far to no avail, but hopefully something will pop up.

We spent a pretty good chunk of money recording and pressing this thing, and we're trying to earn some of that back... VGM is not something that we do for profit. Consider your purchase an investment in the possibility of a follow-up album if you like!

I have never played megaman (I think thats what megas is based on?), but I really enjoyed the Megas music, kinda reminded me of 80's rock soundtracks, like Transformers the movie, but a bit more raw and live sounding. Good stuff.

And thanks generic fighter for the re-ups with packaging, really cool I love the Rhapsody stuff, if this is the "normal" cd package, I wonder what the deluxe digipacks are like? These are pretty thick booklets! Gonna sample some Stratovarious here in a bit and see what they are like. Thanks for putting all this great stuff up.

Also, what is the bitrate of them? I hate bitrates higher than 192, because it's unnecessary and it takes up too much space on my iPod.

Most of the stuff I've ripped myself are at the 300 bit rate but I can rerip those 2 at a lower rate for you. I'll add them to my Upload list.

I feel stupid for requesting them, only to scour the internets to find what I was looking for.
I found both Framing Armageddon and Glorious Burden with a 128 bit rate (!), so it's not necessary for you to take time out to fill my request.

...unless you also happen to have the 2001 remastered versions of their first 3 albums (Iced Earth, Night of the Stormrider, and Burnt Offerings). I can't find those anywhere. All I find are the original versions, which are thumbs down.
