Hello guys. This thread now got one year old. I started it one year ago since I couldn't find a good site/place where many Gundam OST/Singles where available. And in that one year, this Thread grew from 1400 to over 2300 Tracks and the nearly 200 Posts show that there is an interest in having such a collection of MS Gundam Mp3

At first I want to say that these Songs that I uploaded are the only ones I have. With the execption of two new MS Gundam OST which I will up soon.

In generall when I will get a new OST I will try to up it here Asap :)

Athrun, haven't you noticed that what you listed as Gundam Stardust Memory OST 1 & 2 are just the expanded versions of the OST of 3 & 4?

The difference is OST 3 & 4 are the two CD that are separately bought. The ones you list as OST 1 & 2 are from the Gundam original soundtrack box as they come two CDs in the box, and their the same as the two separate CDs only with a few extra tracks.

There isn't four CDs to the Gundam Stardust Memory OST. I know because I have all four CDs, I prefer the boxed set.

THX for noticing. I haven`t had the time to listen to all these songs yet. The order of the OST names are from the Site where I downloaded them. So I haven`t checked them on correctness. As I`ve seen on amazon right now the OST 1&2 have each 16 tracks nd the Box has 18&19 tracks including all of OST 1&2.

Oh and If you can: I have posted my request on the Gundam OSTs you have on youre thread. I would be glad if could upload these ...when youre connection is repaired of course ;)

hey i noticed u have the gundam 0080 ost which ive been looking for a long time.

if you've seen gundam 0080, u kno that track that plays in the first episode after the shuttle containing the gundam alex launches. its like a somber, sad tune that plays as the aftermath of the zeon attack on the alaska base is seen. is this song on the ost? if not, do u kno if its on any cd or was it just unreleased

Note: Sketch 1 is the Name of OST 1 - I`ve put both OST together because of the size.

1.Search on Amazon if the CD is available (the best is to search on the amazon of the foreign contry)

G-Savior ?
G-Savior is a Live action movie which does officially not belong to the Gundam Universe. It was made as a special for the 20year aniversary of Gundam like Turn a Gundam but was so crappy that neither Sunrise or Bandai wanted to have it...
If you are not a hardcore Gundam Fan I would suggest you to avoid that C-Class movie. On the otherhand it`s quite rare

I`ve tested Babelfish and I think the translation is not good. It works much better when you translate single small passsages and not an entire textblock. Otherwise there will come out much nonsense ;)

On the otherhand you can`t complain because it`s free and made as a guide for foreign HPs...

It depends on you ;)

If you are a good boy and a newbee, then you should wait three hours or pay for the premium account.
If you are an experienced user and don`t care about RS`s waiting time and know how to use google effectively, then there are many ways to avoid the waiting time.

How to avoid the waitingtime of RS: (Basics)

Basicly RS gives you one to two cookies where the time you downloaded the last time is noted. Additionaly they set youre IP adress on a wait list. So I log out, delete my cookies, log in and download the next file. (The only bad thing is that my local provider gives me just about 20 IP adresses ao I can only download about 2GB and have to wait for three hours) I call this method IP shuffle. You can also use a proxy but the the speed can be quite low depending on the proxy you use.
There are also programmes available on the net which do this automaticly but you have to be carefull about hidden trojans and viruses etc...

If you live in a state/provider with a fix IP adresse (like some in austria) then the IP shuffle doesn`t work and you can only try to use proxies etc.

Now I have some questions about the Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny albums. To anyone who can provide answers, please do.
1. Two composers are often credited with the music for Gundam Seed: Toshihiko Sahashi and Toshihiko Sato (I can no longer tell which is the first name or last). Amazon sites say Sahashi was the artist, and near the end of the product description, they say all the music is done by Sato.

The Anime News Network credits Sahashi alone; they also say Sato is an anime producer, not a music composer. This site that contains track lists to various animes gives credit interchangeably, though it isn't very accurate: http://anime.alrj.org/g.

Who's right? I've tried finding the answer alone, but info relating to Gundam S/SD music is vague across the net.

2. AthrunZERO, I downloaded Seed Destiny OSTs III and IV but not I and II since I already had what I wanted from them. Could you tell me who's credited with the music in the first 2 OSTs? I might've changed the original ID3 tags by mistake when I first downloaded them.

3. I just downloaded the Seed Destiny Symphony album, and it gives credit to Toshihiko Sakaki... Who the hell is THAT?! I've never heard of him/her/it! Why are all these guys named Toshihiko? Is it their first or last name? Is it just one guy whose name was misspelled 3 times?!

Please help before I go insane.

Hi Lawrence,

I am almost 100% certain that Toshihiko Sato The Composer does not exist - possibly a faulty translation of the Kanji of Sahashi, or more likely just a stupid typo. Every note of Seed and Seed Destiny is dripping with Sahashi's style. The name "Sato" is conspicuously missing from the soundtrack CDs, Gundam itself, and from every official listing relating to the music scores.

Indeed, the only time his name comes up is as a producer, as you discovered, on a dozen different anime shows, and on dodgy websites relating to Gundam Seed... I reckon some idiot messed up the translation when the CDs originally came out, or else just had a brain fart, and his mistake has propogated across English speaking communities. There is probably only one rip of these CDs doing the rounds online, all tagged incorrectly.

My edition of Gundam Seed OST 1 is tagged, attributing ALL CUES to Sato. They are most definitely composed by Sahashi. This site (http://anime.alrj.org/498#album) has the same mistake...

Toshihiko SAKAKI does not exist. Somebody ripped that CD after watching a little too much Azumanga Daioh.

...Mmm, Sakaki... [slaps self in face]

Just a quick trawl of the Internet notes Gundam Seed music attributed to the following fabricated people:

Toshihiko Sato
Toshikiko Sakaki
Toshihiko Sakahashi

I really wish people would check their spelling before donating their "Wisdom" to the entire world... But oh, well...

Incidentally, Toshihiko is the chap's "first name" - Sahashi is his family name. In most listings his name is given in this Anglicised manner, not as it would be in Japan, as Sahashi Toshihiko.

Re your question about Seed Destiny...

My copy, which I am fairly sure is the same rip as the one posted here, but it came from a different source, so you might want to check with somebody who downloaded AthrunZero's copy, is credited as follows: (Please note - these are all as they come, as the tags read - they are wrong!)

OST 1: Artist for All Tracks - Toshihiko Sahashi, except Track 27, Fields of Hope - credited to Rie Tanaka. (Actually the performer.)
OST 2: Artist for All tracks - Kajiura Yuki and Toshihiko Sakahashi (groan), except Track 27, Shinkai no Kodoku - credited to Kuwashima Houko.
OST 3: Artist for All Tracks - Sato Toshihiko.
OST 4: Artist for All tracks - Sahashi Toshihiko.

Well, one out of four isn't bad...

While I was searching for answers, I came across a snipit from Wikipedia or some Gundam fansite about Kajiura Yuki's involvement in Gundam SD. Apparently, she only composed one of the closing/ending themes but did not sing it. Also, I'm pretty sure her last name is Kajiura and that she's the same Yuki Kajiura that composed Xenosaga II's OST. I could be wrong.

That's exactly right - Yuki is a composer, not a singer, and was involved with the opening and ending songs of Gundam, nothing more - but the dopey CD rips credit her and Sahashi equally for the whole album!

There is DEFINITELY only one Yuki Kajiura - I'm not much of a fan to be honest - orchestral strings with an electronic beat and jungle percussion can only amuse for so long - and she's a real arrogant *�$&* if you've read her interviews... I remember reading one where the interviewer says "What other composers do you admire?" and she replies with (basically, something like) "Nobody, they're all crap and I'm the best there is anyway."

Anyway, I apologise - I'm veering off topic. I shall cease immediately. :)

I totally agree with that :) Gundam Music is unique and awesome to me. I love the techno fast stuff that they had in Gundam Wing and Seed. Totally awesome. But I also love the Orchestra style music that Gundam has to offer, it is all awesome! Thanks AthrunZero as well.

Well, the good news is the site I got this from is finally up again: http://animemp3s.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=79. Watch out for long-ass loading times.

Animemp3s.org has an entire section dedicated to anime track lists, including Gundam. Gundam Seed and Destiny are part of a separate list.

The first two G Gundam OSTs include the Japanese names and an attempted translation into English; the rest are Japanese only. The reliability is questionable, yet many of the results of your direct translation are more or less the same.

Track 104, Hasama Ri Kuru Mono, of Round 1 wasn't translated into English, and the Japanese track listing calls it Semari Kurumono (M-13). That's a bit screwed up. I'd say the Japanese track lists are reliable but not the English ones.

As far as being official, the answer is no. I think more than half the Gundam OST track lists out there aren't official. It seems Amazon and CDJapan have no problem selling import CDs, but they damn sure won't hire a guy who can read Japanese and give a general idea of what the track means. That's out of the question.:rolleyes:

None for Score 1 & 2, huh? Damn. I found a site that had the track lists for all the V-Gundam albums but deleted it soon after I finished adding songs from the V-G albums to my library. If I can find it again, I'll post the link.

On a different subject, the MS Gundam Z Special OST-II file was apparently deleted by Rapid Share. You haven't specifically stated whether you're willing to reupload albums, but if so, could you? If not, no prob.

err! I have a request.

The melodies of the TV series' two opening themes and sole ending theme were written by American pop singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka. "Zeta - Toki wo Koete" was based upon the song "Better Days are Coming" from Sedaka's 1972 album Solitaire, while "Hoshizora no Believe" was adapted from the song "Bad and Beautiful" from the 1976 album Steppin' Out.

Could anyone get there hands on these two songs?

Well if you have the game you can also try to rip it by youreself ;). As I know Climax UC is a PS2 Game so you can rip the music on your PC via an emulator. You can google for "how to do" manuals

There would be many happy people if you can rip it since gamerips of Gundam games are rare

OK guys :)

I've uploaded MS Gundam 00 OST on RS, uploaded.to and MU

additionally I've also uploaded the OST of Target in sight (I had forgot to put this into Version 2), the single of Stargazer, and a special rare Version of Gackt 0079-0088 (the Char Version - though I haven't found out jet what is so special on that... but unfortunatly it's without the booklet )

Scuse me' I'd like to request a Gundam CD I once recieved a copy of, Im not sure exactly what it was though.

it was this band doing Heavy Metal Covers of Alot of MSG Insert Songs (Megurai, Cross of Sand, Soliders of Sorrow) in Japanese, but like one or two original songs of the band playing the music I'd never heard before, but One had the repetitive Engrish Lyric "Naked Night" or maybe "Naked Knife?"

The only band which I know that they covered some old MSG insert songs is Gackt (in 2007). I've upped the CD with 9 files recently.
Otherwise I also have upped the english "Richie Kotzen - Soldiers of Sorrow" they also have covered some Insert songs in english but in some country style...

Sorry my mistake ;) - I've got if from galbadia and there they only have the 6 Psychederic Dance Version Tracks. Besides that, are the other tracks not the same as in the regular version??? If it it so, I can reupload those 12 tracks

Now, AthrunZERO, I absolutely have to thank you for this thread. This is a great thing you're provided for us. I have a copy of the Gundam Evolve Plus DVD (Evolves 1-5), which includes a version of Evolve 5 with the BGM intact, without any voices or SFX, so I'm going to rip it from the DVD. It's ripped from the 5.1ch music score remix, as it says in the DVD menu.

Here it is in FLAC, and in a regular MP3 at 320kbps.

It's the only Live Action (Gundam) MS Movie. It was made for the 20 year anniversary of Gundam but it was so bad that Sunrise decided to deny it and so it is not even mentioned to be called Gundam. So it't just a C-Grade movie which plays in U.C 227 where some MS appear. There is also a PS game for it. You can search for it on amazon and youtube

The F91 movie plays in U.C.0123 and is the opening movie of the Crossbone series which does only exsist as a manga since it was not so sucesful. Victory Gundam plays in U.C.0153 and handles the fight between the Liga militia and the Zanscare empire. So the stories are completly different.

I hope that you can play it. I tried it with all Emulators I have but for me, there appears only a white screen. Other NDS games like SD Gundam G generation Crossdrive are playable with some problems for me. For me the only Gundam NDS game which functions but is slow, is SD Gundam G Generation.

Just that you know. SD Gundam G generation Crossdrive and SD Gundam G generation are two different games. Crross drive is bigger and needs more resorces. So it has a worser quality than G Generation, if you have no High End-PC ;)

I personaly like G Generation since it's more playable. Thought the G Generation Advance for the GBA runns much better. Even at 1000% ~ 240Frames per sec

If you have problems with the language. Then I would recommend you the FAQ's on Gamefaq.com. Some have a very good translation of the Game play menu.

Sorry but I am not a gameripper. I am only a Seed, who leeches at other sites and posts and seed the stuff again. The only time where I tried an own rip, was of G Generation Advance for GBA.

The best thing is to ask the gamerippers. I can post you some links to the threads where I found some of the ramerips I have:

Otherwise you can also try to rip it by yourself. (Might be the best method, since gamerips are quite rare and are normally not published on Audio CD's) You can google for the "How to do"

I also don't like that "guess the letter with the cat" game, they introduced a short while ago. Sometimes it it difficult to guess if this or that one is a cat. Nevertheless, I hope that they change the captcha system soon

Oh wow what a collection took me two days to dl.

Im a big gundam fan like most of you, more into UC stuff, just dl them all the other day im on watching ms team right now, going to watch the whole UC saga lol.

still in the process of getting alter universe shows, but yea what agreat collection you have hear.

As for the gundam ds game, you're better of getting the SD cards for your ds, its much better playing it on the real thing than your pc :P I have that 00 game but havent loaded it on yet.

I didn't see anyone else asking this question, so I figured I might as well (maybe I'm the only one that even wanted the album XD)

In your SD Gundam Force + OST, the readme and the forum both said there should be 48 tracks, but there were only 34 in it when I downloaded it. Are there tracks missing, cause I checked back in the RAR again, and they're not in their either. Sorry to bother you with this problem, but i was wondering if the list was wrong, or if there were missing songs.

By the way, I've been looking for this album for a long time, SD Gundam Force is the only Gundam series I've liked so far, and I really loved the music in it, so thank you so much for putting this up, especially for the info on where to buy the CD, although the album is out of print, so you can't buy it on there right now, at least I now know what it looks like so I can keep an eye out for it.

Anyway, to summarize this very long reply, thank you very much for granting me access to an album I've been looking for for a few years now. (I know, I am terrible at internet searching XP) So thanks again.

In your SD Gundam Force + OST, the readme and the forum both said there should be 48 tracks, but there were only 34 in it when I downloaded it. Are there tracks missing
The 1st pack has 100MB = 34 Tracks, the remaining 34MB = 14 Tracks are in pack 2
So you can get the rest by cliking on the link called -> "DDL P(art)2 on RS"
That's since Rapidshare allows only a maximum file size of 100MB ;)

Hey Whats Up, going back to the Track List of the Gundam 08th MS Team Miller's Report I found out that it wasn't the actually soundtrack to the movie at all, but a Chihiro Yonekura Album called "Always". The Track #'s match up the same, so do the songs if you listen to each one.

Yea Your right that the Chihiro Yonekura Singles from Gundam 08th MS Team are on this album. I'm not sure why they included the covers for the singles for the file instead of the actually cover art. I actually should of listened to the album first to see why I couldn't find the actually track list for it, if you do listen to each track and DL the Always album on torrent they are exactly the same. As for the vocal 08th MS Team CD I believe their were a few less tracks then this as you stated with the 5 singles that were on here. I wasn't trying to dissapprove of your OSTs or anything since I really do appreciate all the music you have uploaded very much. I'm just an OCD for my Anime OSTs lol. I think I saw a few 08th MS Team OSTs on cd.japan, with one of the vocal soundtracks if you want to check that site.

I always like positive critisism to improve the thread :)

Concerning the uploaded file. I have only downloaded it from a site and reuploaded it for this thread. And since there are more than 2300 files, it is very difficult to oversee them, also such minor things like if they are named correct or if they have booklets... And since this thread comes closer and closer to have all Gundam songs (Which will be impossible), I am investing more effort in the other Gundam activities...

Concerning the booklets, I add all the booklets I have to the downloads but booklets are rarer and more difficult to find than the music. I would be glad if someone could upload some new booklets ;)

A Cross Bone Gundam theme??? I know that there are some singles for F91 but I haven't heard of a Cross Bone theme. Can you give some info's?

Is it the BGM test in G Generation F?

It's working for me....Sounds like you're having a problem with MegaUpload. If you have the screen up for too long, it makes you ask for a new code several times. This happens to me sometimes, as I can't have parallel downloads and sometimes I open all 4 albums at once and minimize them until it's their turn. MU makes me put in several new passwords for it.

The best solution would be to get a free-user account for MU. You only wait 25 seconds and you can download a LOT more per 24-hour period.

Well yeah, it's up; loving '00 Gundam', but... this version seems to be from the 'Allelujah Rescue' Episode. I have to guess that the version from Twin Drive will be in OST 4.

Cause, there are still some musical pieces that have been shown in the show that haven't appeared in OST 3 yet.
