This is AMAZING! Thanks for putting this together. But I've got to ask - would it be possible to re-encode it to a higher quality? I don't mean to be picky or anything, it's just that it frequently dips below 60 (and sounds kind of "swimmy").

Second: Below 60 what? Bitrate? I haven't really been looking into how I ended up encoding it, but as far as I can remember the original files weren't of extremely high quality either. But I might be mixing this up with something else, as it's a long time since I ripped this. I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise anything.

Yeah, I meant bitrate. It looks like you encoded it somewhere around 56 or 64 kbps - which is fine, but like you can definitely hear the difference in crispness if you play the first track "Theme" and then play one of the others, like say the "Corrupt Combat" theme.

I definitely appreciate you taking the time to at least look into it (even if it turns out you wouldn't be able to re-encode them), so thanks. This has always been one of my favorite soundtracks and I couldn't believe it when I suddenly came across it here.

Know what? You're right. It seems weird, though, as I at least thought I was certain that I encoded it in higher quality, at least CBR.
I actually want to fix that myself, but I can't get anything done until Tuesday. Stay tuned...and please do remind me if I forget ^^;

Good news, I actually found the original stitched together sound files after a bit of looking around. The wav files were all the way up above 700 kbps, so it must have been the converting that went wrong. I'm gonna convert them and upload them a bit later today. Stay tuned (again).

Thanks, the music for Tron 2.0 is a good send up to the original Tron music, has the old Tron feel with modern electronic influences to it.

I agree completely - I just hope Daft Punk is able to do the same for Tron Legacy (the new Tron movie - they're doing the music for it) and not totally abandon the old atmosphere. Somehow, I bet Tron 2.0 will actually wind up being a lot more faithful to the old movie than this new sequel, but I have high hopes for something new anyway.
