now a long time ago, i started playing ffx. but then when i got to 'overdrive sin' i got stuck and put the game away for a long time.
a while ago i started a complete new game and tried things again.
i am now just past seymour flux and heading for the (if i'm not mistaking) sanctuary keeper.
it isn't that far away from fighting sin again. and i really don't want to get stuck anymore... i trained so hard
could please someone give me some advise about which level my characters should have to be and those things. or maybe some extra advise about sin??

Cant..... except one thing, FFX characters dont have levels

Hope that helped

it sounds like your near to fightin sin, but you can still go beat the keeper, do the tasks in zanarkand after and then you get the airship, which you can use to get to some good training places like the omega ruins and you can travel spira again, but once you get the airship, dont go to the highbridge as that might lead you straight to sin afterwards ( i aint sure about that though or if you can travel after that as well)

as for how strong you need to be, i havent got a clue

and rude, not that i want to sound condescending, but i'm sure that if he is where he is in the game, he knows that there are no lvls like in other FF's, and that he was infact refering to the size of his stats

Im sure he was but he made a mistake and I pounced on it as any completely normal person would.
And you did sound condescending, im hurt.....whatever it means

fair enough, i pounce on mistakes like that sometimes as well, also, i apologise for hurting your feelings by sounding condescending, which is just another form of sarcasm

Rude666 is a very intelligent person. hah

Overdrive sin: If you have Anima then the battle should be a doddle. But if you don't or you think you'r characters suck, then I suggest you capture master tonberry in omega ruins (with that capture weapon), then you will have him in the monster areana, you can keep on fighting him for good exp. to increase your stats.

Rude666, shut up unless you have something to contribute.

To magic slap:
Level up your characters by using the 99 Sphere Levels Trick (Thread 27038). Using that, your characters will level up very easily. You'll gain 99 sphere levels after each fight! ^^

Rude, srsly, be silenced.

Your weakest character should have at least 2000HP.

Umm...My Auron was actually doing 9999 damage at this point, My Wakka 9000, Kimahri 6000 and Tidus 4000 (lol). Theres no fixed point that you need to be at, just make sure you make the right moves, and train at Omega Ruins and Sin as much as possible.

That is, if you can't be bothered with the sphere level trick.

I am seriously not gonna be stupid anymore as I have been given a warning.

And I never thought that Omega Ruins was really a useful place to train

it isnt that good imo either, but i think its one of the best places to get loads of money from a fight, provided you can get the empty treasure chest with a fiend in and beat it up, and have gillionaire

Rude666
11-17-2005, 09:08 PM
I never used Gillionaire, how much extra money did it give you? e.g double, triple

rikkalesca
11-17-2005, 09:10 PM
Gillionaire does triple, I think.

It took me a while to defeat that sin, but I fought my butt off, and then used Yojimbo.

Rude666
11-17-2005, 09:26 PM
Yojimbo..... Tut Tut Tut, I only used Yojimbo for the Dark Aeons but I could take them on now

What's wrong with yojimbo? It worked.

Zanmato is another word for chating

Neo Xzhan

Actually, Zanmato is Japanese for Demon Edge/Sword.

The most cheap trick is have all your Aeons in Overdrive before you enter the battle, then summon them in succesion and let them perform their overdrives. It's probably the cheapest trick in the game, but never fails.

Yui

Also, everytime you use your aeons, then you dismiss them(or they die...), the turn almost always comes back to your characters.

Rude666

Neo Xzhan everyone knows the Aeon trick, but to be honest its not even a trick

Gillionaire is double. Mimic will give you 50k without the ability, and 100k with it. After I fought Seymour Flux, I spent most of my time leveling up around the area. (Gagazet, Zanarkand Ruins,....) I stopped playing for awhile, because I wasnt sure how to beat the Sanctuary Keeper. After I leveled up in those areas (took a long ass time...), I kept trying to battle him then got killed everytime. I found that the only way I could beat him was to have Tidus, Auron, and Yuna (and her Aeons) all at their OD. Have Yuna and Auron in the back and just let him attack Tidus. I used Yuna's Overdrive for Bahamut (i think), and used my other Aeons at their overdrive. It was a pretty short battle after that. (Keep in mind that once you use an Aeon, its dead after one attack, so make that one attack an overdrive.)

Is the Sanctuary Keeper the one who uses Curaga cuse if it is, I have to admit he was quite a toughy

Social Distortion
11-18-2005, 09:49 PM
Sanctuary keeper is the one with the platform/bomb things. And he uses the Berserk Tail all the time. Remember now?

Rude666
11-18-2005, 09:51 PM
AHA got ya he was probably even harder but still easy

Social Distortion
11-18-2005, 09:53 PM
When I first tried to beat him, I didnt have any kind of a guide or online access. So, after about the 5th time of getting killed, the controller hit the wall and the game got thrown in the back of my TV stand....

Rude666

Nice but it wernt that hard you just need to think stragetically

Social Distortion
11-18-2005, 10:01 PM
At first, I didnt know that the platforms blew up and killed you. You have to constantly move characters. its a pain, but quick and easy if you have everyone/aeon and full overdrive.
