To level up the easiest without any effort, take yourself to cactus island in the southern part of the map. Its a sandy island with a little bit of grass. Anyway, morph yourself 3 cactuars into 3 tetra elementals. Equip these on your three characters you want to level. Now, go to the island of mideel. Adjust the map so that you see cloud at a more birdseye view. Walk to the beach closest to mideel and tape the down button down. Then, turn on Turbo "O" and tape that down. In a couple days, you'll be at level 100 and have all your materia mastered. You'll fight the giant worm thing down there and the tetra elementals will absorb his sand attack.

Theres already a thread for this, It should have been a sticky thread..

Thread 24893

Head Hunters. By far my first choice. Ive spent about 20 hours doing this and i can say the consistency that comes along with fighting them, its the fastest. Many people have their opinions on the matter, but, there my choice.

Cactus Island is found south of Cosmo Canyon in the ocean,

Do you know that if you rotate this map 90 degrees and increase/decrease the size of certain continents, you get the FF9 map?

When will people stop making these threads...

Fighting in the Crater gives you the most experience, AP and Gil from the three enemies listed above. However, the downside is that you need Elixir's for the Magic Pots and unless you have used the save crystal, you need to exit the crater each time to save. The Head Hunters are good however because you can easily win 350AP a battle and with triple AP, this will level up materia fast enough.

Choose your method and don't make any more threads about it. Read the old ones.

The sunken ship is the best way to level. I don't see the point of leveling up DURING the final dungeon. It's often best to prepare beforehand, so you can wipe the crater and save your MP before Sephiroth. Yes, the fastest leveling goes to Northern Crater, but the most effecient way of leveling up is in the ship, because you can fight Emerald, Ruby and various other foes w/ massive rewards. (You can also pummel Lost Number if you forgot to get Vincent.) It's more of an opinion thing. If you want to level up in the minute, go for your precious crater, but if you want to prepare for your invincible Weapons, go for the ship.

Going to the Northern Crater doesn't mean that you have to kill good old Sephy. Think about those Magic Urns. I think that they give 100, 000 exp or ap. That isn't chicken feed. And the only reason that the Sunken Ship is useful is the Morphing. You can get all types of Sources.
