Piggly Wiggly... the wait was indeed worth its weight in platinum. After listening to the complete recording sessions of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, film composer Hans Zimmer had done a superb job composing the sequel. Not only that, Lorne Balfe had done an equally superb job on the score as well. Overall: this sessions earn an A- !

Until I wait patiently for the recording sessions of Chill Factor by John Powell and Hans Zimmer, keep up the most outstanding job, PW! Once again, thank you.

I checked and the movie does indeed just use the last 6 minutes of the 3rd Shadows Suite for the "Chess" scene
(though the bit from 2:25 is repeated once and the clock ticking is removed)

I found the actual speed multiplier and applied it to them to get the intended original tempo and pitch/key (Without digital artifacts / noise).

I'm very confused with all this speed situation in the OST... Your version sounds very good, I like that tempo more that other versions that I have listened but I'm wondering how are you sure thats the correct one? :) Also, are you considering sharing a version with the corrected correct speed?

I took the OST track, and Moriarty, and meticulously dropped the speed multiplier until the tracks were lined up exactly the same all the way down to the exact waveform, the tracks are exactly the same bar for bar. It doesn't alter the quality of the audio or create artifacts when you do it this way. Other people tried using tempo changing plugins or pitch shifting/key change software and that is wrong.
