I posted a link in 2015 on WildwoodPark's thread of KRAKATOA, EAST OF JAVA to my then newly remastered version of this title in the higher resolution FLAC format. This soundtrack is so rare that I believe it deserves and can sustain more than one choice in this forum. My download is derived from a DSD transfer of an Australian pressing of Krakatoa, East of Java. The content is identical to US LP releases. However, I have re-configured the tracks for a better musical presentation with the Orchestral Score first and the vocal source cues afterwards. Also, I have tried to minimise the shrill high end present on the LP for a slightly smoother sound.

I really enjoyed this movie back in my teens and Maximilian Schell was always one of my favourite actors. I got the record - in excellent condition - on a flea market in the early 1990s. Didn't cost a lot. And it looked rare. Which it was even back then.
