No, this is not the same as the FLAC version. My album isn't promotional, and has 24 tracks in total. Not to mention the link to that flac version is dead.

Is this in mp3? (It helps to let people know in your opening post what format you're sharing.)

This is an mp3 rip of ReclaimedHalo's original flac share which, (I now see) as mentioned before, is still available (Thread 218385)... at least give credit where it's due.

What's the point? If you wanted to share a mp3 version of it for those who don't like FLAC, could at least have told that, and credit the original dude, but you make the thread as if you were sharing something exclusive that you did.

Eager for attention much?

Enough of this. It's not nice, but a good 98% of us don't legally own the music we share, so we can't realistically tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do with it. OP didn't credit someone at first, big fucking deal.

If it's not the promo, then what's your source? There has been no official release yet.

ReclaimedHalo's Blu-ray rip.

A match of Blu-ray rip for the missing cues and the lossless promo that leaked.

All the info is in the original thread linked above. This is just an mp3 transcode of what is in that thread.

ReclaimedHalo's Blu-ray rip.

To all of you who can't comprehend and jump to conclusions, I never downloaded reclaimedhalo's flac version (just remembered seeing the thread back in august, but never had a chance to download anything as I couldn't find it again) and came across the mp3 version I posted from elsewhere on the web. I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, but you guys need to quit jumping the gun and READ. "DAKoftheOTA" posted a link earlier today to a flac version (that had nothing to do with reclaimedhalo's flac version) that I never seen before, claiming that it was the same version I just posted. It obviously wasn't. It had 19 tracks instead of 24, and was clearly promotional. I in turn, responded to the fact that it wasn't the same version. "Taffey Lewis" then posted a link to reclaimedhalo's version, to which I responded by thanking him/her, as i'd forgotten about that thread. Reclaimedhalo thread is not easy to find by the way.

The problem I have is that some of you are saying I'm trying to take credit for posting an album that I didn't create, which is absurd. Take your heads out of your asses. All I try to do is share things with the people on this site that I think they'd enjoy. I could careless about claiming any credit for it.

The fact that I feel I have to explain myself pisses me off when all you had to do was read. Comprehension is our friend.

If you didn't take it from him, then you took it from someone else who took it from him and uploaded it somewhere else :P As far as I know a 24-track version is just ReclaimedHalo, no official or even promo version with these tracks exist.

I'm all for there being mirrors, and further sharing things to people. However, considering the lack of information regarding where the upload came from, it shouldn't have been surprising the sort of responses that this thread has received. OP, perhaps be more considerate of such whenever you make a future post.

And considering that Halo's set did end up deriving from the 24bit promo, DAK technically isn't wrong as to where it came from.

OK, I think OP got the message. Personally I missed it too, so this was new for me. And let's face it, bragging rights to being the best bootlegger is nothing to fight over in the scheme of things... I would prefer to encourage sharing rather overly-criticizing an honest mistake.

I don't like to add more nonsense to this thread but... c'mon. The onus isn't on OP to track down the source. Frankly, who gives a flying fuck where it came from? As LSK said, the music doesn't 'belong' to anyone here, and it's not like anyone 'worked' for it. Yeah, I'm sure ReclaimedHalo was really working his ass off downloading YouTube audio...
Isn't this the score everyone was all bummed didn't get a release? And now people are whining (not you Hunter) that only certain people should lay claim to sharing the bootleg? Sheesh.

OK, but who the hell are you to tell anyone anything?! You're not anyone. I already explained myself, even though I was under no obligation to do so. You're not reclaimedhalo. I could understand if he/she commented on this thread.

You guys are just asses who don't like to admit your mistakes. I don't have to do a damn thing. I don't have to give ANY info on where I get anything from. It doesn't have anything to do with me who got what from whom. I could honestly give two shits. Just don't accuse me of some petty bullshit I'm not guilty of committing. Apologize, and admit you were wrong or fuck off.

Much props and thanks to reclaimedhalo and his original post.

I don't mind mirrors, it just bothers me if it's custom work and the original person who worked on it doesn't get credited.

But honestly I was just discussing. I am not that bothered.. for me, the problem is over, really

I was not here to tell you that there was a certain way to do things that everyone must follow. I only said that perhaps it would be nice if there was extra info added to help any newbies out, should this be the first thread they saw. Of course you can do whatever the fuck you want. I was never doubting that. I just feel that there's a certain set up that would be ideal to follow, and if it isn't, then that's okay. The info will likely be somewhere else, anyway. It's all shit we shouldn't have, after all. Piracy is piracy. What more is there to say?

I wasn't accusing you of anything, really. You're just another dude that shares on Shrine. Keep doing your thing.
