The missing track in question plays in episode 2 when Naomi beats up some crooks. None of the OST releases have this missing track.
And... some tracks are the same, just with diferent names.
for example. The one shared in here is PICA-1050
Track "Terraforming" in PICA-1098 is "MCCANNON", a new arrange version of "Opening" in PICA-1098 and in PICD-1002A it is called "Dawn of Mars"
in this release "Sorrow" is called "City" in PICA-1098 , in PICD-1002A it is called "A City Without Sunshine",
Also "ARMITAGE" is called "A Crystal Drop" PICD-1002A , and it does not appear in PICA-1098.
"Martian Police Department (MPD)" is called "Bioroid" in PICD-1002A
the track "DAN CLAUDE" presented in both PICA-1050 and PICA-1098 it is called "The Killer" in PICD-1002A , BUT, in this release that track called "D'Anclaude" is "BIODROID" in PICA-1098 .
In PICA-1098 the track "Battle" is called "Silent War" in PICD-1002A
"ENDING THEME" in PICA-1098 is called "MULTI-MATRIX" in PICD-1002A (this is the ending theme for the movie version of Armitage III)
Now, The only exclusive track to this release(PICA-1050) is "SWING", which was not feature in any other release.
"Terraforming" and "MCCANNON" being the same track, are only available in PICA-1050 and PICA-1098 .
PICD-1002A does offer some more tracks : "Cyber Transmission", "A Tear of Cyborg", "More Aggressive", "Cyber Battle".
Another issue is ... where does that title of "Music Edition" comes from? because it is wrong.
This a Ongaku Hen, aka, Music Collection. Back in the day, they were planning on releasing 1 soundtrack for each episode following the familiar trend of cyberpunk anime of the 80ts and early 90ts (Bubblegum crisis, Detonator Orgun, iczer 3, ad police, gall force earth chapter... and so on). But the idea was revoked, and the soundtracks were released in a vary chaotic style.
I bought the PICA-1098 release hopping the missing track was there, since there were diferent names, and we have 4 more image vocal tracks. No luck.
I did a rip of the track. it has sfx and voice, so don't complain.

edit:
I just bundled all released music (except repeating same tracks) in my playlist, including the ripped track, and a full soundtrack would be 2 full cds.
I appreciate this information.
I have two of the releases, but never realized the missing music. I'm going to have to rewatch it ... or at least check out that scene.
