The majority of them were used as stems in most of the promotional material.
I couldn't fit "The Magnificent Six" in the title, but some of Zimmer's posse also had a hand in these.

You're not the first I've heard this from. Any other info you have I'm all ears ;)

After listening to these yesterday, I wrote down some details:

Only 2m10, 7m57, and 7m58a are completely unreleased. I've been wanting 2m10 and 7m57 for so long!! It's great to have the Spidey Logo without the stupid album fx at the beginning. There are little bits in 1m03, 4m31ab, and 7m55 that were edited out for the album versions. Skelly's already mentioned the horrendous clipping in 7m55.

The weird thing that's bothering me is the fact that parts of some cues sound like demos. For example, the strings at the end of 7m58a sound completely artificial and played on a keyboard. The don't sound like that in the film. Also, the strings and horn in 8m63. The weird thing about 8m63 is that the beginning (with the solo piano as Peter talks with Aunt May) sounds just like the proper recorded version on the OST and in the film, yet after that the rest of the cue sounds like a demo, particularly as a couple of parts are completely different than the OST/film version.

It will be very interesting to compare these to the sessions when they finally turn up.

Even the intimate, quiet parts? Take away all the loud, heavy electronics used for Electro and you have some truly beautiful cues. You can't honestly deny that "You're That Spider Guy" and the film mix for "The Rest of My Life" are very moving.

I have several deadlines next Thursday/Friday. Then it's the Christmas hols, at long last. Although, having said that, this first semester has completely flown by.

There's little actual symphonic music in the album.. I do recall liking one traditional piece.

There's actually a lot of symphonic music - it's just covered by a lot of synth a lot of the time. But check out those two cues I mentioned again and let me know what you think.

Most? Electro Showdown (Pt. II) by far. The opening of it is so amazing. And the Flying Montage too, mostly the very end of the cue.

Hey brother I got a weird idea this maybe stupid, but it occurred to me that what if these scores that are recorded were actually scored for the original cut of the movie. In other words they were unedited and they are meant to be heard as the way it was for the original cut of the movie. But when they finalize the film they modified the score and cut parts and blended it to make the score sound the way it did in the final cut. It's just a thought I was just assuming or at least thinking that this may be the case. Especially with the rhino returns cue and the snippets during the electro showdown as well as spider logo without the horns. I know that part of it was used when Gwen was searching Max Dillon in Oscorp before survellience deleted her access just a thought.:-)

Ditto; sure it'd be nice to have the full score but these ten cues are awesome to have. No goofy fade-outs or SFX like on the OST, and if Sulley's analysis is correct we got two whole new cues!!

They always do that with films. Sometimes the version of a cue in the film will sound totally different from the way it was originally recorded/programmed. Like 'Batman Chased' from Dark Knight Rises.

For one cue in TDK they changed the pitch of an entire track for the film. Why do that? I don't know... it's just a choice they make that probably won't be reflected in any leak. At least any leak here.

I'd definitely appreciate a link for this. Any unreleased music from this movie is definitely appreciated. Hated the film, but I was surprised how unappreciated the score seems to be. I still prefer Horner's from the first film, but this Zimmer's & Co. is undeniably great, as well.

The ending of Electro Showdown Pt. II is very clearly synth. The celli sound like they're being played on a keyboard. In the film, it's definitely a live recording. Similarly with the strings and horn in 8m63. I truly hope the sessions are the final film mixes.

Hey brother even if the sessions don't have the final film mixes, everything else will hopefully be there for someone to mix and make a film edit. I wish the sessions have all of the music recorded even the electro stems, if it has the film mixes great, if not I'm sure mixing them provided all the source material is there shouldn't be difficult, The only track I know is difficult to obtain would be the rest of my life with the vocals, because i think they were added in after the score was produced. I could be wrong.

Oh and the ending part of Electro Showdown was what they tracked over the filmversion of "Look at Me"
