if your tonberry king has call shop got to esthar pet shop and buy hypno crowns and refine 10:1 into royal crowns and refine them into 10:1 mag ups. this method costs alot so to get heaps of money you could refine 100 tents into 25 megapotions, sell them, buy 100 tents, refine, sell, buy, etc etc. or mug mezmerize blades from mezmerizes(which can be found around tibira(on the green ground)) and refine them 1:2 mega potions and sell them(which is a much more efective way)...have fun! it costs 1500000gil to get 1 mag up

Squall_Bahamut --- if you really want it badly, FFVIII does have one of those unlimited gil-making tricks that allows you buy stuff and then sell it at a markup. Would you be open to that? I get the feeling you're more of a purist and wouldn't want to do it that way, but let me know if I'm wrong.

X-Potions are usefull don't insult them .. :)

If you can get hold of Eden, you will learn the devour command, then find and eat Behemoths for +1 mag, just another way, but I think the other method is easier...

Squall_Bahamut, since you said you wanted to know, here's the unlimited money-making trick --- Just buy high value using GF Tonberry's Haggle and then sell them for a sweet markup using Sell High. In combination with Call Shop, it works great!
