Alas, I'm at work as well, although that doesn't mean I plan on doing actual work (hence why I'm here).

Maybe I'll get some more writing done, then head home, eat dinner, watch Voyager and play some form of bat-game. Oh, and try and sleep, I guess.

Give it ten minutes, though, and all that will change...!

P.S. Before starting I'd given thought to shaving my head, covering my face with white talc, blasting the score to Mad Max: Fury Road, punctuated with my frequent cries of "Witness Me!", "So Shiny, So Chrome", and "What a Lovely Day" but then sanity took hold - a tenuous hold, I grant you- and I decided "Nein!"

Flies arrive first. Within 30 to 40 seconds after death. Followed by beetles. Enzymes breakdown your cells, along with bacteria. The process of decomposition has five stages: fresh, bloat, active and advanced decay, and remains.

And remember, the number of people who show up at your funeral depends directly on that day's weather.

So far things have been going according to plan for today. Woke up, went to the bank (got there just in time before they closed at 12:30), came back and had late breakfast, mowed the lawn, now I'm waiting for my laundry in the dryer. During that, gonna take a shower and maybe do some film mix editing/last minute tweaking on my next (more like latest, cause it's pretty much done) project. I'll have dinner later and then afterards watch a nice clean 1080p copy of Mad Max: Fury Road. The neighbors will be hearing noise coming from my house tonight :p

Amen to the release of the soundtrack. But if Cameron's comments are to be believed, he's done with the Terminator. And so is the U.S. audience, judging from its lackluster box-office. So unless the movie makes drug cartel dollars overseas this is probably it.

The shame of it is, the first twenty minutes are pretty good and gave me hope of a movie while not equal at least comparable to the first two Terminators. Then came the part where Reese is send back in time and that's where the movie falls apart, logically. I'm surprised no other reviews, at least that I've read, caught the rather glaring error.

The short version: Mr. Holmes is a master class in acting from McKellen. He plays a spry Holmes in his sixties as well as a frail man in his nineties with equal conviction and believability. The plot revolves around Holmes struggling with memory loss trying to remember the details of his last case as a detective, the case that made him retire to a life of bee keeping. Everyone around McKellen is operating at the same high level especially Laura Linney as his latest in a string of housekeepers and Milo Parker as her precocious son Roger, the two perhaps taking the place of Mrs. Hudson and Watson.

It's a deliberately paced film so don't expect the frenetic speed of Guy Ritchie's Holmes' films. It's a character study, one that's beautifully shot and impeccably acted.

A few, possibly the opening shot. But I have to have a cover that is completely and totally different than all the others out there. It has to be unique. As unique as my film mix. One of a kind, let's say.

Also, just seen this:

Having not seen T3, I can't vouch for it. But I know someone here can...

That is 100% legit. During the summer of 2010 when Bay was shooting DotM in Gary, Indiana, there was an accident with an extra (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2010-09-02/news/ct-met-transformers-film-accident-20100902_1_movie-crew-transformers-critical-condition). The scene involves Dino jumping up onto the guardrail on the highway. He grabs one of The Dreads with his grappling hooks and long wires come out. During shooting, one of these wires snapped and hit the woman who was the extra. I forget the details, but she had a major head injury. So to compensate for this scene, Bay re-used that infamous highway shot from The Island. Instead of one of those CGI dumbell-looking things Lincoln rolls off the back of the truck, it was replaced with the Decepticon that Dino grabs with his hooks. Same shot, just the CGI was changed up a bit.

Any tips for someone whose muse rarely ever comes, but when it does it's good?

(Music really does inspire me sometimes, specially BGM from movies.)

What got me into writing, and being able to actually form good sentences without thinking,
I find is to keep your mind active and imaginative. One of the easiest ways for me to get
going on a essay right away with nothing but a prompt, it to just put your music on shuffle.
Whatever gets you motivated, blood pumping, and mind exploring is a good way to be creative,
especially in writing. Fo rme, personally, music gets the job done EVERY SINGLE TIME no matter
WHAT I am doing... Photography, writing, editing, livestreaming, video gameing, drawing,
walking the dog... Music literally makes everything easy. Lol.. When I write with music playing,
I find that there's a subconcious feeling that music instills into your mind, opening up doors
and just allowing you to easily write without even thinking. But that's just it.

The trick is to not think, just do. Start writing, it doesn't matter what you write, so long as it
is relatively contrary to the topic you're writing about.. And in time, it will become a sixth sense :)
Also, the best music for this is Smooth progressive house, Film sessions and video game sountracks.

It put pen to paper and the words just flow out.

That sometimes happens with pen and paper, but I find it happens a lot more on a keyboard, I have to say! It's a heck of a lot faster, which means I can almost type at the speed my thoughts are flowing, whereas my physical writing speed is slow and deliberate so that it's neat and not messy. :p

So typing keeps my train of thought going, if you like.

It can be bad if you don't know how to control it, it's easy to go REALLY off topic..
But I've perfected it ;)

Haha, yes! I know how easy that is lol. I was once preparing talk and went completely off topic. Thanks to a good friend, it got back in hand. ;)

I find that silence is often quite useful. But then sometimes I find music really useful as well. Depends on my mood and the topic I'm writing on. I listen to music as often as possible, whether that's whilst washing up, sweeping the floor, cleaning out the chicken coop, cleaning my teeth, etc. But not walking the dog. I like to keep my ears open to the fresh air for that. Besides, I like talking to the dog. :D

Which reminds me, I've always had a habit of talking to myself when I'm alone. If it's just me around, I automatically talk to myself about anything and everything. And I think that helps with my writing. I think it even helps with my public speaking. But hey, who knows? :p

The only problem I have is actually being motivated enough to start writing in the first place x3

Now there's something I have a problem with lol.
