Thanks for the Share Luezuve. How I remember visiting these kiosks at both Disneyland & Walt Disney World many a time. I still miss the system to a certain extent, and was glad they brought it back in another form at Disneyland (The Wonderland Music Co) for older and obscure Disney LP's and records that were being cleaned up by Randy over at WDR. Then the system went away. Still, I was able to pretty much obtain all the material on the Wonderland Music Co system before it was turned off, give or take an album or two.

Lovers of Disney's movie Frozen will be in for a treat come 2016.

Walt Disney World announced on Friday a ride based on the popular animated movie will be opening at Epcot in 2016.

The ride will be in the Norway pavilion of the park. It will replace the Maelstrom ride, which opened in 1988. The last day park goers can enjoy that ride will be Oct. 5.

In a Disney Parks Blog, Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said the new ride "will take our guests to Arendelle and immerse them in many of their favorite moments and music from the film."

It will also include a location where Anna and Elsa can meet park guests.

Staggs also said the Norway pavilion is the perfect place for the new ride so guests can see the country and region that inspired the blockbuster.

Disney has not said what changes they will be making to the Maelstrom ride.

That's really awesome. Too bad they can't build a ride in eight weeks because we're going in November and 6.5 year old daughter would be in heaven on a Frozen ride. That being said, there's nothing stopping us from going again in 2016. ;)

Hey everyone... I love Instrumental versions of Disney music, so when you're digging around for your next upload, might you consider something on the Instrumental CD? Those Disney On Classic CD series are really nice, but everyone seems to share the same original files from Jasperp and many of them were only partial albums and low bit rates. I'm on the lookout for the Disneymania series in FLAC as well.

I have an idea.... When a CD is posted and we download it and notice that it doesn't contain all the artwork, let's everyone look for it or check our drives to see if we have it and then post it so as these titles become available, we can make them as complete as possible with the help of EVERYONE. I know many of us don't have all the artwork, but maybe someone else does. So lets pull all our resources together to make this the best thread ever! Who is with me? I can't seem to get to any of SkipperJason's Mega links. It says it's in violation or the folder has been disabled. Anyone else having this issue.

Also, just ignore those insane requests. It's very simple: 1. Tilt eyes towards ceiling and try to find any spots of paint that look like hidden mickeys. 2. Push the down arrow on the keyboard (or scroll down with your mouse). 3. Whistle your favorite Disney theme. 4. Stop pushing the arrow key (or scrolling). 5. Tilt eyes back to screen 6. Keep whistling your favorite Disney theme while you enjoy the rest of the thread.

I would like to ask: is there any cd that has karaoke versions of Ducktales and Rescue Rangers?

There's lots of Karaoke stuff out there but have never seen anything with Ducktales or Rescue Rangers. This doesn't mean they don't exist.

I been more than 7 months haven't login to this forum, just been back recently. I have missed a ton of Soundtrack. Those soundtrack I download from somewhere else. If someone not yet posted before then let me know I will posted the certain soundtrack. If someone already posted, then no need to posted TWICE.

I only check the thread have one topic, if too many topic in one thread I just download the front topic and the rest of it I didn't download. Besides, I also cannot download all. Too much bandwidth for my internet connection. Besides, still have to use internet for other learning material.

The other day I was in Spotify and I happened to found this CD of Song of the South that wasn't released by Disney but incredibily had the soundtrack, even BGM.. I would assume Disney gave the soundtrack for another label to release.. without naming the company at all. Thank you for the download!

It was released back in the early 80's on laser disc in Hong Kong (in English) and in Japan (in English with Japanese subtitles), also on VHS in England. If you search the internet you can often find copies for sale that have been converted from the Hong Kong Laser Disc to DVD.

Your Pete's Dragon is NOT a HQ audio file. It may be FLAC, but it's a transcode from a low bit rate. If you run it thru SPEC, you'll see it only has 16 kHz. If it was a true FLAC that is original, it would be registering 21 -22 kHz. Sorry, but this particular share doesn't measure up!

I personally ripped that one myself from a friends CD using EAC and if it doesn't measure up then the problem would go back to the original source and there was no Mal intent on my part by ripping and sharing it.

Your file has a much richer, full sound to it. I run my audio out of the PC via Optical Cable into an AMP and Bose Speakers ( House size, not computer size ). I would enjoy listening to your files, might you post the album here for us? Thank You!

That file is the only one I have from the compilation album. I've been searching for a lossless Pete's Dragon for a while now but now but still have yet to find it, it seems. If I do find it I will gladly share it.

Found this on the NET, the quality is exactly the same as FLAC, but in M4A.

say what? .m4a is a container and not a codec like flac. m4a can contain aac and apple lossless. so please refer to proper naming. it's aac or alac, but not m4a.

ALAC = Lossless
Apple = loves to confuse us by giving them the same extension.

All my files are alac .m4a files so that they are easy to use in iTunes.

There's no reason for arguing about it. It's all semantics. Just enjoy the music.

I appreciate all that you have done. I do not feel critisized, I just don't have as much time as many people throughout this forum. I also don't have anything currently in FLAC, so it takes extra time for that. Just like what Mr Gold said, it may already be uploaded, but in the wrong codec. I am going to find time this week to set up the setting that allows me to rip in FLAC. Please be patient, and don't worry. Things don't always happen immediately. ;)

Does this mean that uncompressed .wav files are acceptable on here? I see that this isn't in flac. I have 3 titles from WDW that are ripped at 1411 kbps in wav. If you will accept it here, then I can post it now and you don't have to wait for me to get it to FLAC. I honestly don't see a difference between uncompressed .wav and flac. I'm new to the whole FLAC thing, so feel free to explain. :)

It would be great if the case is clarified in soundtracks in Spanish, if Spanish is Spain or Latin America. The previous soundtracks, I understand, are Spanish, because in Latin America (or in Argentina, where I'm from), is said to "Tinker Bell" and not "Tink". Looking for Disney in Latin Spanish and I could not find anything. It would be great if someone got it, share it on this thread.

Seems like someone decided to take this out of print 4 album set and repackage it. I own the actual vinyl of "The Magical Music of Walt Disney" and have listened to the postings you generously shared with us SuperSoaker. The edits, sound quality, and order of songs is completely identical. Pretty sure this is a match. The only thing that is a bit disappointing is that they did not include anything from volume 4 of the set, which is all stuff from Mary Poppins, Pete's Dragon, and the Magic Kingdoms.

I think it's easy to differentiate from the castillian spanish by the titles, for example:

I think it's easy to differentiate from the castillian spanish by the titles, for example:

"I Just can't wait to be king" (English)
"Voy a ser el Rey Le�n" (Castillian spanish)
"Yo Quisiera Ya Ser El Rey" (Latinamerican spanish)

Any info on the source of this? I can't say I heard of an single release of this track. Is it safe to guess it was pulled from one of the Haunted Mansion CDs and given it's own cover?

Grim Grinning Ghosts sounds like the same edit as the version from the official park albums over the past few years.

No, it's not safe to say..... LOL. It was just released as a European release last month. You'll be able to find it on iTunes.

FYI - Untouched.... what do I mean by that???? you might think to yourself....

When I add "Untouched", that means that I know where the original content came from....actual studio release, first hand knowledge, purchase. Also, you will also note that untouched is not edited any way. No volume leveling. No clicking or hissing removals. No silence removal. All tracks are the PURE track as released by the manufacturer. If I found the file from the net, and re-post it, then it will NOT have this distinguished as I do not know the source or anything about it.

I meant no disrespect and greatly appreciate the post, and doubted that you yourself pulled a random track and posted it as a disc. I actually did Google it, the title just pulled up a ton of references to tracks on earlier releases and assorted Haunted Mansion information, and doing an image search on the cover returned 0 matches. Having spent a fair amount of time floating around different Disney music communities (going back to the heyday of alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks) I have seen alot of "new releases" that are actually several levels removed from someone who compiled their own track listing and now passed off as real discs (not maliciously), or tracks that are seriously improperly tagged (things labeled as DLR HM but are from Phantom Manor). I have also seen alot of tracks that were leaked by people with really good sources at WDI/WDW/DLR/etc. Since nothing definitive came up for this when I did search, I was simply curious as to provenance.

Thanks for the explanation, and the post as it's not currently available in the US iTunes store. Gotta love country by country releases.

I can't get the pass to work. Am I lame?

When you click on the link and it opens the window, go to the address and remove the bracket br slash bracket (I had to write this out since it wouldn't show in my original post for some reason) and see if the window then opens without the decryption key. You should then be able to download it and use the password. At least that worked for me. :) Good luck.

You're not lame....
Do a Copy/Paste method so you don't type it wrong. The password starts with the letter "P" and ends with the letter "C". That is the password, nothing else on the line, just highlight that section and copy it and paste it.
