'The Mission' track may be the last of the many highlights that Jerry composed in his carrer.
It's a pity that, apart of the pop song version, the theme was only reprised once in the original album on 'The Same Air' track. Hope with this expanded release there can be more of this theme.

What a great soundtrack! This is one of those that got put onto the "also-ran" shelves years ago and was completely forgotten about. Not only is the extended version leagues better than the short version that was originally released, listening to it took me back to the '90s when I'd scan the ads for the week's coming theatrical releases looking for Goldsmith's name and the excitement when I discovered a new score, and with luck, a new soundtrack. Not only is this like a brand-new Goldsmith, it's a really good Goldsmith, too. Thanks so much!
