OK. Thanks for the warning. Btw, I'm uploading this set in FLAC but the source is not true lossless. It will get here tomorrow.

That is not my post... my post states that folks have to PM ME to get the links.

Except wimpel. When he contacts me via a Quija Board I shall do a little dance of joy.... then give him the links. ;-)

All I want to know is if anyone has remastered the sessions, put it into correct order etc? Otherwise, this excellent piece has been offered in FLAC by Sanico for like 2 years. It is not a "complete" score, it is a set of recording sessions and a bootleg. It is not an actual release. Sounds great, but folks should be aware of what they are getting. End credits is like in the middle of the set, for example. Many of the "alternates" are really inserts and such . It will take a skilled person to figure it out and master it. I asked Sonic about it, but he declined. Any other takers?

I think the Intrada two disc set is not only MORE than enough of this music.... but sounds just peachy-keeno on my mega-stereo system.

But.... I shan't quibble. Gentle diplomacy is one of my many virtues. <hugs>

(don't fret about the opinion of pimple... oops... wimpel... the poor thing just suffers from an inferiority complex run amok)

I haven't "remastered" it. As the sound is very consistent throughough, and despite a few clipping, we can have some nice result with not that much work though.

But I did put in in correct order thanks to someone who worked at it, on an old forum, somewhere...

Here (I for one, placed the alternates at the end):

Here are my best guesses, after two frickin' days with these CDs and my laserdisc of the film...

After A LOT of research I found that this is REALLY REALLY a complete score set. It may be missing some alternates but entire film score is included plus alternate versions of some tracks. Also, I have put this in the correct order and included the vocal version of Waxing Elizabeth, only found in the 2003 promo. Btw, this set is soon coming completely restored and remastered in FLAC but let me warn you the sources are not true lossless. For this release, I utilized the recording sessions, a complete score set available in Chiefdundee's blog and the promo, also provided by Chiefdundee (1 cue only, Waxing Elizabeth (vocal), since it's the only album to feature this cue oddly).

It shouldn't lose any quality but if it does, the changes should be minimum and nearly imperceptible.

Would you up just that one track for me please, or does the dark side forbid it ?... If no I should find a way somehow.

:)

As I said in the other thread, I may handle a remastered set a bit later this year. I think it worth it, and I preserved it on my HD especialy for that purpose. Now... Life, you know. But the right track order itself already makes it a great set.

I do not have the set lossless. BUt, I think I can get it from a soulseek friend. I should be able to download just that one track. It is too bad no one has a lossless LP rip of the original release. I'd bet it would blow all the cd sets away.

Oh Gosh !... I wouldn't let go the sessions for that but that would be a nice add.
I wonder if it's not the source of an old 75 min bootleg wich sounded very nice.
