Yes, and they're all upconverted from their original 96 bit rate. Nothing new really except for the fake ass track titles.

However, the "A Hero Can be Anyone - Rise" edit is pretty good.

all you really need is disc one and two of this one. Especially since "Rise" is properly edited together on this version, unlike the originally leaked version last week.

I've not yet found a release that has the volume problem fixed - haven't been able to download the flac-fixed (upconvert) version (as the split-archives can't be downloaded).
Unless this becomes sourced in flac (or other lossless) direct from the source I suspect this problem will perpetuate in the various 'complete' versions that are circulating.

What about ALAC? Apple Lossless Audio Codec (or whatever). Doesn't iPod support that? And don't ask me any follow-up questions on this :) i'm sure there are others that know better. I just noted there is such a thing as ALAC...

With the two additional tracks added for a 4-disc ultimate complete score, the size that I have is a massive 952.3 MB!!!!!!!!!

I understand what you mean about converting. I have an iPod as well so I just converted to 320 m4a to minimise loss. I was gonna convert to alac but would take up too much room on my iPod. However I did test a track and converted to both 320 m4a and alac. There doesn't seem to be that much loss in sound quality (to my ears that is).

I haven't found a program of mine that can convert and work in ALAC (I use Adobe Audition) and don't fancy converting to wav to put onto my ipod. Might try converting to wav to normalise and see if I can save as AIFF or see if some form of plug-in is available to save as ALAC-m4a...any ideas?

download XLD (which theeaglesfan005 also recommends) or MAX. They are great both great converters. however i prefer XLD for converting to m4a.

What's the difference between the CD1 version of "Batman Chased" and the CD3 version? They have the same length. Also, is "Imagine the Fire" the same track as the one on the previously released Complete Score?

I assume the difference is that one version is made to be like the movie version, as it seems they mixed that track up after recording it
(the complete score version is pretty much the same as the bonus track 'Risen from Darkness'

There was an interesting re-orchestrated version of the prologue I found on Youtube that claims it was an album version. Knowing the album's contents I can say it isn't there or wasn't part of any of the collections that have already been posted for this or maybe I'm missing it. Here's the cue. It's not nearly as impressive as the finished version but I like it.

They could try, but with sfx and all it'd be less superior to what is already available.

Two of the three cues I am thinking of are not full of SFX. The 'Hero Can Be Anyone" with Selina Kyle's theme overlaid; and the very opening of the Fire Rises, when the trigger doesn't work. Anyways, I was just curious. I don't have the means to or else I would try it myself.

The second scene is right when Talia tries to detonate the device and nothing happens.

The third scene is when Selina Kyle and Batman are talking when he decides to drag the bomb with the Bat. The scene leading up to their kiss.

iTunes can do this for you. This is how I do it:

I convert flac to WAV using DVD Video Soft (simple for me. But you can use foobar if you want as that's also a great program, which I also have), stick the WAV's in iTunes and in the Advanced tab, there's an option to convert the WAV's to ALAC.

Note: I use and old version of iTunes as the current new one sucks for me. And i use Win7, not MAC

Just wondering, did this end up being true? I have a basic/non-extended soundtrack where Risen from Darkness is like you say (not identical in sound to the movie), and I'm looking for the movie version. "Batman Chased" usually ends up having the same problem, unfortunately. One account on Youtube seems to have everything from this thread uploaded, but their CD3 version of the song mistakenly links to the CD1 version, so I can't sample it, and all I really would like to add to what I currently have is the chase scene (movie version) and Gordon Undergound.

my only gripe is that there is no "isolated" version of the "rise" theme, you know, that omnious and loud chant we all love.
sure, theres "why do we fall" but i dont know if it was intentional or not, but the voices sound like they were recorded in 64k, and then put in the background
