Thank you for posting these! Disappointing that POCAHONTAS didn't include "Savages" or "If I Never Knew You," but beggars can't be choosers! I am EAGERLY looking forward to BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and HUNCHBACK!

I only wish they'd done these for THE LITTLE MERMAID and ALADDIN as well!

'The Little Mermaid' release was ruined by the inclusion of an awful midi instrument playing the lead tune on all the various song instrumentals for some strange reason. 'Aladdin' was never done despite the official song instrumentals for 'Beauty and the Beast' before and then 'The Lion King' afterwards being released as part of the range.

Yes I do have the prologue from 'Beauty and the Beast' without the narrator and FXs etc.

I can't wait for someone to upload what I've requested before I upload the rest of what I've got either ;-)

Now, I wasn't going to say anything when I read your first post. I thought maybe I just misread your last paragraph which was both saying "I've got more," and "Here's a request of mine." But you actually are saying you won't share the rest of what you have until someone shares what you are requesting.

This not a trading forum. People don't come on here saying I'll share what I've got if you share what I want first. That's not how this forum works. You either post what you've got or you keep your damn mouth shut.

OK, I won't post any further instrumentals then (was going to put up 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' next due to the numerous requests I've had for it), I'll delete the links for what I have posted and will delete my profile also.

P.S.

I bet you downloaded both files in any case ;-)

Wow, that was pretty hardcore. Delete your profile? Bit of an overreaction, perhaps, but maybe my suggestion was a bit harsh. No sarcasm is meant in these words. Just a light reminder with a slightly harsh added at the end because it was early in my morning. Perhaps I should have asked a mod to look into it and give you a small reminder.

Did anybody get that link? I'd like to compare the Lion King instrumentals with mine.

In any case, yes, this isn't a trading forum. But that doesn't mean you can't post this stuff. The reason trading generally isn't tolerated is because it never works out here. A while ago, you may not have been here at the time, but we had Transformers 3 sessions for Inception sessions, and it all pretty much ended in tears anyways.

My latest Lion King set includes these instrumentals if the link can't be duplicated.

Trivial correction but it was Transformers 3 for Inception, and it not only ended in tears but also a distrust of all people named Mark G. from now until the end of time.

But you are right: it is just absurd to think that a trade will work out between yourself and a single other individual when, if you take a step back, you'll see that hundreds of other people are hinging on your trade going through as well.

Ah, right. Thanks for correcting me. It was so long ago, so ludicrously played-out that I kind of forgot which it was. :P

So did anyone get these? I bookmarked the links but he deleted them from mediafire...

Maybe in the future it would be better to be a little less confrontational...this website is supposed to be fun for hopefully everyone involved and many people just lost out on a rare share. I think the better way to approach this would have been to direct him to the request part of the site as it is his prerogative not to share w/o some sort of return whether we like it or not

Well if no one have the music posted by the original uploader to do a re-upload, then the thread will be closed since the OP deleted his/her links.

I guess that's the price everyone pays when some of us are not cool enough to say in a courteous manner, especially towards newly registered members, to remind them about basic forum guidelines.

anyone know the full list of hte genuine orchestral sing-along cds released by disney? ive googled a couple and only come up with crappy synth karaoke versions, not real minus tracks like these.Well, there was a two volume series titled "Just The Music" by Walt Disney Records and Northsound, which featured select Disney Songs done as Instrumental pieces, with some of these tracks later got re-released on romantic Disney compilations. From Japan, there's the out-of-print "Disney Strings Fantasy" volumes, which later ended up on the "Disney Orchestra" Series, which is also out-of-print physically, but Digitally is on the Japanese Itunes Store. And then there's the "Disney's Peaceful Piano Melody" and "Disney's Delightful Piano Melody" CDs, both of them are sort of still in print physically but cost an arm and a leg to purchase each cd. Then there's "Disney Suite Op. 1" containing Waltz arrangements of Disney songs (I think?) ; and going back to the states, there's the "Disneyland Forever" tracks of the Disney Gallery and Club 33, and the recently released "Classically Disney" album. Of a minor note, Japan seems to have a huge series of Orchestral versions of just about anything, from game music to commercial jingles; and they also seem to enjoy live orchestra concerts too.

Sorry about the long list, the items to look for are in "Quotes"

However, none of the above were actually the *correct* orchestral underscore from the films, which is what I think Zeratul13 was seeking. Most are either new arrangements, or are synth versions and don't come close to sounding correct.

OK, a change of heart so here's both sets again combined into one file this time - http://www.mediafire.com/?dnh2l1wo21d8n87

Be nice if people said thanks rather than do a quick snatch and run like before...

Finally, I'm new to this site and had already posted some quality items before these two (the complete instrumental scores to both 'Mary Poppins' and 'Bedknobs and Broomsticks' etc.), so would have appreciated a little tact from those that considered my request to be inappropriate. Also, at no point did I ever say I wouldn't post the rest unless I got my request, so for them to assume that is down to them and not to me (a bloody cheek also considering how I didn't have to post and share any of my collection to begin with like I have done). Anyway, after this little experience, I won't be as keen to share any of my other rare Disney instrumentals as I have been in the past now. Sorry.
