Edit : it appears that the original files are not lossless but LOSSY... I've tried to change that on the title but I can't. But even lossy, it sounds GREAT !

From a promotional EP that has reversed paper-labels : track 01 & 02 on A Side are in fact track 01 & 02 of B Side. And of course track 01 & 02 from B side are track 01 & 02 from A Side ! I have corrected the issue on the following track list. Album cover is white with dark letters : BUNNY LAKE IS MISSING A Symphonic Poem in 2 Movements by Paul GLASS and there's no text on the back cover. So no art work attached...but a hell of art indeed : this is music ! Fascinating score.

Track List :

01 - Overture
02 - First Movement
03 - Second Movement
04 - Coda

I have the vinyl soundtrack and your orchestral version is longer (excluding the three songs by The Zombies) and more vigorous. The sound is crisp and it's easy to pick out the individual instruments of the orchestra. This EP is a much better version than the LP I think. Thanks for sharing this lovely rare music Robert.

As usual around here, crummy posts of degenerate crap get massively popular, and posts of genuinely great music get almost ignored...

For what it's worth, thank you for this wonderful album. I was unfamiliar with both film and composer, as well, so a double whammy. Very grateful. It's rather Alex North at times!

C'mon, folks... put down your Dredd and your Dark Knight Rises, and listen to some actual music.

Thank you both, Yen and Tangotreats, for your lovely comments. I checked the LP tracklisting that indeed features three songs, which I didn't know. The way they're interpolated on the LP is weird, though : not an optimal listening experience !
Paul Glass also composed another outstanding score : LADY IN A CAGE.
Which is impressive with BUNNY LAKE is its schizophrenic texture : it's both gentle AND terrifying ! And I think that, rather than Alex North's, Glass' music shares the same kind of spirit than Leonard Rosenman's one.

I don't know if you have seen my previous post but I'm sure that if you liked BUNNY LAKE you'll enjoy EAST OF EDEN as well !

Amazing! Excellent share!
Some LP covers indicate it's stereo, but my LP cdr was mono, so this stereo EP is a revelation, and no crackles or hiss. I identified the cues in the EP - I dont know which version is more accurate regarding the order of appearance in the film.
EP vs LP cue list
1. Overture= 10
2. 1st Movement= 1+ 2+ 3
3. 2nd Movement= 8+ 9+ 11+ 12
4. Coda= 7

LP Tracks 4,5,6 (The Zombies) omitted

Is there a lossless soundtrack (for editing purposes, since editing lossy = 2x lossy)? I've been meaning to revisit this. I ask since the post has been updated to show that it's lossy. A wonderful soundtrack, BTW.
