I'm not in the "Raimi and Maguire Suck" fanclub or anything, and I did like the first three films, but for me Andrew Garfield's Peter rang much truer to the comics than Maguire's did.

Ironically enough, I do prefer the score to Raimi's films. Horner sounds like he was trying to put an 'Avatar' spin on it rather than create something new. It's not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but knowing that he did Avatar, he could have done better. Maybe he just didn't have the time though.

I think everyone should be aware when putting this on their iPods or other portable devices, that the cover art embedded in every track is over 1 MB in size all by itself as it's a PNG file.

They should replace it with something smaller if they want to save space on their devices.

The only thing I know for sure is that the shorter track 2: "1m1R Main Title Rev" is the version heard in the film, which frankly sucks because it completely removes the triumphant main theme's performance which was the best of the whole score.

Maybe Horner scored a different main title sequence since that the film has a lot of deleted footage.

Hey just wanna give a big thanks for this! But I think there might be an alternate or edited version of Lizard wreaks havoc part 2. In the movie you can only hear the guitar and I think it also has an added riff

No, in the film you hear the same thing as in the complete score. In Piano Files, someone is selling sheets and audio scores in FLAC, and his complete version of this one has 47 cues. The one from Scorepranos has 45 cues.

You should really make a new thread for the lossless version, so it doesn't get buried in this one.

Surprising it took this long to make it here, when it's been out elsewhere for a long time.

Just the way it goes sometimes. Some sessions make it to the shrine in lossless very shortly after the mp3 version leaks (TRON: Legacy). Others can be easily obtained in lossless, but still haven't been posted here (Thor, Pirates 1-2, Battleship).

The link no longer works, it says it is no longer available for download :'( Please fix or email me, I have over 400 complete scores for your choosing if you can help with this :)

I think everyone should be aware when putting this on their iPods or other portable devices, that the cover art embedded in every track is over 1 MB in size all by itself as it's a PNG file.

They should replace it with something smaller if they want to save space on their devices.

I've been suspecting this for a while now. So the full-size image is embedded into every track? That's annoying.

Still busy with my Horner Upgrade to FLAC and noticed the links to TASM. Too late, I cried...

Is there any chance of a reup or mirror?

I did a custom of this (lossless) but never uploaded it because SonicAdventure did his own. Unlike his, mine included everything and I went the other direction with it:

Instead of blending cues together which he did and I sometimes do, I ended up splitting several of them up because there were many moments I preferred to listen to alone rather than as a larger part of a cue. It was easy since there were moments of silence so it wasn't achieved through fade outs.

I will analyze Sonic's version. Thanks for the info.

There's only really one cue missing from the sessions, called "High School Hijinks". It was never used in the film and the only proof that it might have been recorded was that you can see the sheet music in the behind-the-scenes portion of the Blu-ray release. I myself uploaded it to YouTube:

Hello Jhfan I am a huge fan of your work, and I too would be very interested in listening to your version of the score, simply put because you are right in the sense that a lot of tracks had fades in between them like they were meant to be separate. Also it would be nice to have a true lossless version of all the tracks, because the other versions out there while awesome the editors chose to remove said songs for fluidity.
