It's been a while since I first made a version of The Warriors soundtrack: Thread 50045
& I wanted to take the time to arrange it differently, extend some tracks, add some new ones, and also make it available again since MegaUpload went belly-up.
Maybe most importantly, too, to actually remaster the audio and make it sound better.
Please note, too, that most of the music from the game is at a lower sample rate than 44.1 kHz, which is the standard for audio CDs. I tried to do my best to make the audio available sound the best it can, but I can't restore frequencies that aren't there, so much of the audio has a frequency cut-off around 15 kHz (from 30 kHz files).
Also, I'm not exactly intending for this to be some sort of "definitive" soundtrack or anything, just my interpretation of how I'd like to listen to it. Since the game has over 7 hours of music with a lot of repeated themes and slight variations, I'll be leaving out a lot of the repetitive stuff.
The three volumes, past, present, and future, represent the time periods in the story.
"Past" is the flashback levels before the main story,
"Present" is the main story,
and "Future" is the same time as the movie (Walter Hill originally wanted a subtitle to the movie to say "Sometime in the future", lol).
I'll also have a volume or two of other music, including the "Armies of the night" side-scrolling adventure!
The rest of the project should be here within the next week or so.
Music composed by Steve Donohoe and performed by Neveroddoreven.
