Has anybody downloaded this? This is really an outstanding collection that Deutsche Grammophon put together, with many wonderful performances in this package.

Moreover, for collectors impressed by awards it can be mentioned that Giulini-Chicago’s Mahler 9th has received a whole bunch: Grand Prix du Discophile Repertoire 1977, Prix Mondiale du Disque, Montreux 1977, Record Academy Prize, Tokyo 1977, International Record Critics Award 1977, Deutscher Schallplatenpreis 1978, Grand Prix International du Disque 1978, Grammy Award 1978 and, finally, the Grand Premio del Disco "Ritmo" 1978.

It is truly one of the greatest Mahler 9ths ever recorded.

Even so, I should at least thank you for the initial sharing I missed, because… Wow! 11 CD? 3.5 GB? I am impressed… Hom much time did it take to upload all this to Mega? Either you have an incredible web speed at home (A), or… you were brave enough to bear the passing of time… (B)
If (A) is true, could you reupload it please?
But if (B) is true, don’t bother. Uploading 3.5 GB with a low upload speed is a great suffering I would not like to endure…

Concerning the lack of space: you should maybe make several free MEGA accounts? For that, since (I suppose) 1 MEGA account = 1 mail address, you should use Abine Blur, I use it and it is nice, it will allow you to quickly make new email addresses which will forward all mails to your main email address. So, with Abine Blur, you can simulate 5 email addresses, or 10, or 100, while you have only one.

I have a cable internet connection, but for this much material, it still takes a few hours to get it uploaded. (That doesn’t stop me from doing other things in the meantime, mind you.)
