I would love a post of this, I would prefer FLAC, but wouldn’t complain about 320 mp3, AAC or M4A

Ditto. I’m interested to see if they did any mastering for this release, and if there’s any improvement (as opposed to the initial soundtrack release for TP HD, which I believe added some awful reverb effect).

And it will be interesting to see if there is anything on here that could not be ripped from the Game itself (I doubt it) like with Link Between Worlds

I’m very excited for this as well. Though not every jingle is being included, cutscene music, and possibly some other little cues, but other than that it’s a fairly complete release. :p

The one track that I believe falls into that category would be "Trailer Theme (Hyrule Field) -Alternate Take-". I don’t know exactly what it is but I have a sneaking suspicion it’s "Zelda Gallery" in !!!!!’s rip of the game.

Wait is the Win Rar file with blue text…or something is wrong with me ?

Anyway can someone post the…. Breakdown difference… i guess?

I can’t really say much cuz I haven’t really listened much to gamerips and such to notice any difference but, to my unknown casual ear, it sounds really good.

Don’t take my opinion much in consideration – I’m very casual and don’t know all about music mastering or filters but I think they’ve added a reverb, but it sounds good to me.

Files and folders in blue chars mean compressed format. Right click on one of them and select Properties to see the compression box checked.
It has no consequences.

Well I was right about this.

I compared some tracks from !!!!!’s gamerip with a lossless CD rip and it doesn’t seem like any extraneous mastering was done for this release. If there was, then I didn’t immediately notice it. There is certainly no ugly reverb.

The game uses both streamed AND sequenced music. The streamed stuff (usually looped dungeon/special area music) essentially had a cutoff of ~18 kHz in the gamerip.

Here’s what the gamerip for the Princess Rutela ghost music looks like:

Here’s what is presented on this release:

There’s clearly a bit more data on the CD.
Maybe Nintendo provided better source files than what’s on the game disc. Maybe all that extra stuff is the result of extra mastering work.

The Malo Mart chant in particular looks mighty fine!
Gamerip on top, CD on bottom.

On the other hand here’s a bit of sequenced music. It’s the track where Zelda sacrifices herself.
Gamerip on top, CD on bottom.

Make of that what you will. It sounds exactly the same to me.

So we should keep the gamerip right ?

Do whatever you want. It’s all personal preference.
I believe the CD leaves out some smaller tracks (such the cue for the giant cannon being built).
Oocoo’s theme is mixed a little differently on the CD than in the gamerip.

Yeah sure but my question was actually…if we make the "Ultimate collection with gamerip and CD" how we supposed to knows the differences between them ? I know it a tedious thing to do but it feel supreme to have these in a collection…. like "You don’t have to edit the sound for example in the gamerip one".

If you’re that obsessive, then I suppose you can just check the spectrograms against each other for each and every track.
But generally you should keep the sequenced tracks from the gamerip, and generally you should keep the streamed tracks from the CD.

Look up !!!!!’s Nexus of music thread and you will find a revised version of PrimeBlue’s rip that includes a couple of tracks she missed.
