zack and cloud switch places?

in my opinion i think that zack should have been the main person in the original final fantasy 7 in stead of cloud. i would like to know what you think.

What, as in the character designs? or the personalities or the timelines?
If you mean cloud and zack should entirely switch places including personalities, sorry but itd be stupid.
Zack at beginning as a teenager is stupid and egotistical and most of the main characters would hate him.
Cloud, lets just say hes far to depressing to be seen in crisis core, and he’d run to Sephiroth or anyone else for help. sorry, but this suggestion is kind of foolish.
However i think zack should be in dissidia, replace him with jecht coz Jecht was never meant to be evil.

no like if cloud had died in stead of zack. like if cloud and ran in at the end and helped zack and then cloud died after the fight and zack lived on. so zack would still be more down to earth than he was earler in the game. somthing like that

you do realize they did both die?
Their was 5 years between ff7 and Nibelheim, im pretty sure they spent a few years in that tube. Hence why Zack feels so weak.
Cloud is a pathetic backstabber, and Zack well….he was beaten by sephiroth pretty badly.

Has anyone watched the extended FFAC? Sephiroth still doesnt get angry, and have u seen that pathetic octoslash thing? so much blood and gor, but sephiroth is meant to be amazing with the masamune, a few slashes wouldnt hurt, hes not fencing with a rapier.

Nibelheim, you take 2 full length stab wounds from a masamune and live to tell the tale. Sorry but he was dead, we all seen how Vincent was basically killed or WAS killed.
It just happens to black out mysteriously and not show them die or live or anything for several years.

why not? you take a buster blade in the back and live to tell the tale, Sephiroth wasn’t much better off himself.
