Yu Yu Hakusho DVD Music (Title)

Anyone have the main menu music for the recent Yu Yu Hakusho DVD’s (First Battles, Second Wind, etc.)?

Do they use music from the show, and if so, which songs?

It’s not in the show itself. Just the main menu.

While I’m at it, I’d like to post a second request as well. Does anyone know where lost tracks from the anime are? You can’t find them on either OST.

Okay, here’s the story with this stuff. The main menu music is new, and as you indicated, it’s not in the show itself. I just picked up the first two seasons, which, upon popping the discs in, are basically repackaged versions of the recent YYH DVDs, meaning that I got to hear the music you’re talking about.

I can rip that song for you, but not until next weekend. I have some great software on my computer at home to do so, but I won’t be going home until Friday. No guarantees, but I should have that song ripped and uploaded sometime Friday or Saturday.

The second request is not something I can get unfortunately. I love that track personally, but it’s not available. Ripping it isn’t possible because doing so would not allow the ripper to isolate the music from the speaking or the SFX. If someone has access to the YYH singles, it is entirely possible that the song is used on a menu. If so, it can be ripped; I could do so, but I need to know which DVD it’s on.

In sum, I’ll get you the menu track next weekend, and if before then you or someone else can point to a menu on one of the singles that the song in question from your above post is on, I’d be happy to rip that as well.
