I suddenly had a craving to watch one of these, and everytime I do I cant decide which to watch. It usually ends up being The Two Towers, but I think the Return of the King is my Fav.

Same here. We have them all on VHS but I’d rather watch them in my room with my awesome speakers, but I only have a DVD player, my PS2, so I never watch them :(.

Tbh I like the first and third movie pretty much equally.
However, because I particulary enjoyed the Shire and Rivendell scenes in the first movie i’ll vote for that one.

I own all of the extended DVD releases, and they are all awesome. I think it’s hard to determine which one is the best, as it’s a trilogy of films, and they’re basically one whole movie. I don’t view them as separates.

I liked the Two Towers, it had one of the best battles I’ve ever seen in a movie.

The fellowship.
It’s the beginning of a fantastic saga and is the only movie in the trilogy, in my opinion, that doesn’t get too dark or depressing.
Plus, it just happens to have the jaw dropping Balrog scene. 🙂

yeah, I actually ended up voting for the first one, because I thought the whole Moria scene rocked.

I tried to sit through the first one and couldn’t do it. I thought it was too boring. Never watched any of them since.

Interesting that the first one is winning the poll, it’s the one I liked the least

The Fellowship. Not being much of a high fantasy fan, the concept got old after that.
