This game is awesome, but I think there are two reasons that really stand out:
1: The beautiful landscapes. My favourite is either the hidden beach at Valkurm Dunes (to bad alot of boogies spawn there), or N. Gustaberg.
2: You can be a lone wolf wandering the plains. You can go ANYWHERE! I remember the first time I left my hometown of San d’Oria just to see what FFXI had to offer… so I headed south. It was great just runnig across the fields, only to see someone else once in awhile. Sure, I got lost a few times but it was still fun. The music really added to the experience. I think I used up all my screenshots on that one trip.
