This is fantastic thank you so much!!!! Any chance you will be putting up the other two albums No Disc and Vitaminless up at 24/96?

Thank you very much!

Out of curiosity, what was your source medium for this? Because if it was a CD it is still red book (16 bit, 44.1 kHz) even if mastering was done in K2HD.
I’m trying to understand if the 1.04 GB are worth it 😛

On the website of the K2 Technology says the following about the K2HD Coding:

K2HD coding enables digital data containing high-grade formatted music data up to a maximum of 192kHz/24 bits to be stored in low-grade formats with a minimum of 44.1kHz/16 bits.

For example, there is no problem expressing music with resolution of up to 192kHz/24-bit spec even on existing CDs.
Digital Audio data in CD format is raised to 192kHz/24bits, and the raised data is then coded in 44.1kHz/16bits

K2 is a technology that restores high-quality sound when digital data is processed. High-Fidelity Information Processing Technology is used when digital data has already been altered or deteriorated in order to be compressed or conform to formats or specifications that are restricted by the original format. It restores the damaged digital data to almost the same level as before being converted for compression and the original state.
In addition, High-Fidelity Information Processing Technology can pack into a CD the quality of up to 100 kHz frequency and 24-bit resolution. Instead of cutting them off, this technology modifies the signal to fit them into a CD, without reducing the overall volume of sound.

Example: Music data up to a maximum of 196kHz/24-bits can be stored on a CD (44.1kHz/16-bits).
This uses unique technology to perform energy-equivalent conversion as music data in bands and specifications into which data that is usually reduced owing to the specifications being too large to be stored in that format. In addition, High-Fidelity Information Processing Technology performs sound waveform conversion processing which makes sound quality the optimal.

It’s hard to understand how i’ts done, but what I undertood was that the high quality audio is ‘coded’ to fit inside a CD and retain a better quality.
