I know that! Yaoi a term for a manga/anime genre. It’s an abbriviation for YAma nashi, Ochi nashi, Imi nashi". Which means "no culminaton (peak), no meaning, no conclusion".
Another name for this is "shounen-ai", which basically means "boy love" or "youth love"

It’s basically two guys in a relation. And they have sex.. Which eachother. And they have if OFTEN XD

Hentai- A form of anime, but in a sex style. So basicly, anime characters in sexual activity, and similar stuff.

Yaoi- Two males in sexual activity

Yuri-Two females in sexual activity

Hentai is actually the Japanese word for "Pervert" and in America we call any porno Anime by the name Hentai because it’s perverted! LOL! Hentai was soon misused to refer only to the Tentacle sex anime’s. But, most anime fans out there who know the meaning of the word apply it properly. It’s true. I’m learning Japanese… or at least trying too because I like the culture so much. Anime and Manga are just a plus. Yaoi is actually a boy/boy relationship of a sexual nature. Yuri kinda means the same thing for girls. That actually is funny to me because of Kei and Yuri from the Dirty Pair and the Dirty Pair Flash series. Because the character Yuri is only interested in Males. I belive that "Shonen-Ai" is simliar to Yoai but is more like being in Love and not just the sexual part. I’m not exact on any of this but It’s what I’ve learned so far. I’m mainly learning the sentance structure of Japanese right now. I’ve gotta ask my Room-mate all this stuff because he speaks Japanese fluently… :p I hope you guys don’t think I’m just jumping in here to act like I know everything. LOL! Cuz I don’t. Hello!! Ranma-kun again!! So…one..or actually…how do you pronounce it? Is hentai pronounced Hen-Tay or Hen-Tie or other? I don’t even know how to begin to pronounce Yaoi. Wow…this post really raises a white flag. It clearly says NEWBIE HERE!

luckily, i speak spanish cause i’m hispanic and jap is easier to pronounce if i read the ramaji like i’m reading spanish so…i make less mistakes. 😀 and am sometimes pretty sure of my pronounciation. i just worry about my accent.
