Many of these tracks are already included in the base game / original soundtrack (https://vgmdb.net/album/75752) release. Some of them are not tagged or have the wrong title.

Out of 21 files in this release roughly 10 are old tracks.

I includ some of them because they loop or because i really like the song.

So much for a proper release. You should clarify that on the main post, people come here seeking the new music probably ignoring that in fact there are only 11 new tracks composed for Torna ~ The Golden Country (that I’m aware of so far). There are many tracks from the original Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that are re used for cut-scenes and other scenarios in the game.

These are the following tracks that are not new, that you’ve included in this post anyway:

Got to agree with SimonCucho, while I appreciate the posting of the songs, but the tagging was hastily done where several mistakes were made (switching the day and night theme of Auresco, not tagging Gormott, not tagging that several songs were the Torna ver.) Not really excusable given the amount of songs.
However Simon’s out of line for being critical including songs that were in the original game because they were also used in Torna, so it’s logical they be included.

Edit: I’ll probably take a bit of time to clean up and order the stuff later.

If that were the case, there is stuff missing then! There are several tracks from the base game used in Torna’s cutscenes, more than once as well. The update included roughly 60 audio files. What I say is that this release is quite selective or incomplete because among those files, most of the tracks for cut-scenes are repeated and cropped (they have different lenghts), much like the ones in this release that have a "short" version.

There are more tracks than the ones included here used within the DLC cutscenes, and most of these tracks come with a "short version" audio file if you really want to add all the music that was used in Torna ~ The Golden Country.

Nop file are based on ogg vorbis. Despite that the quality is very good especially when it was encode at 99 kbps.

Just came back to say that the real soundtrack for Torna is indeed 11 tracks only, no less, no more. It is as I suspected and it’s becoming official by getting an official release.

^ To add to that, in case anyone panicked for another limited physical release like the USB for the Original Soundtrack, this release is Digital Only.

Was just gonna say, the Torna OST’s been announced. It’s digital-only, at first, but will likely see a physical release, maybe with a collector’s edition Blu-ray with all the tracks.

The digital soundtrack in japan is sold on some online store like mora or e-onkyo in a Hi-Res Audio: lossless format 96kHz / 24bit while in europe & usa we can only have compressed 44.1kHz / 16bit version on itunes or amazon
