Also be careful when you remove the obi from an LP or LD because depending on the way it’s manufactured, putting them back on can be a real pain in the ass and possibly risk damaging the obi or the edges of the jacket.

I have had that happen to me several times with some of the LPs I own…but I managed to find ways to put them back on easily without damaging the obi.
