Over at Kotaku they realease this scan

A new game called X (cross) Edge is gonna be on the PS3

this game is gonna be made by Idea Factory who also is making Chaos Wars another crossover game which inlvolves characters from Growlanser, Shadow Hearts, Gungrave, Spectral Force among others, so theres a chance that this game has a possibility to come to the states.
The Characters involve right nor (who are in the scan) are:

�Disgaea� (Etna and Prinny)
�Darkstalkers� (Morrigan, Felicia and Demitri)
�Ar Tonelico� (Aurica, Misha and Shurelia)
�Mana Khemia 2� (Roze and Lillane)
�Atelier Iris� (Marie)
�Spectral Souls� (Mue)

There’s gonna be two groups: The Underworld and the Dreamworld, the fisrt groups are from Disgea and Darkstalkers (Etna and Morrigan as combo…Best group ever) amon others, while the second group are from Ar Tonelico and Atelier Iris among others that are not confirmed.

The heart of the Cross Edge is turn based combat through the Direct Action Turn Battle system where players use attacks assigned to the four face buttons of the PlayStation 3 controller. Each character gets a player customized move set and each move consumes AP. Chain up enough strikes and you can unleash a powerful finishing move.

I think it’s more beat ’em up than rpg though

It’s fine if you like this kind of thing, but I’m personally not impressed in the least at first glance. Unless the game has ungodly amounts of depth and scenario, this totally looks like a DS release right now.

DS release? With such hi-rez character portraits? You’re mad, man. ^.^ Haha, regardless, I’d love to get my hands on the game’s soundtrack. The trailer’s audio was awesomely rockin’.

The battles seem to take forever.
