It turns out they’re making a next-gen "serious" version for PS3, X-Box and PC while the more "friendly" version will be for Wii, DS and PSP. I can’t wait to play the PS3 version and I now have another reason to grab a Wii. Using the Wii-mote like a proton beam (I think would be safe to assume) is going to be all win.

Good or bad, I"m getting this game just because its Ghostbusters.

It looks much better now than it did in the last clips I saw of it. Definitely a rental, and a used purchase if it is remotely decent.

Just because I still live at home doesn’t mean I don’t try to make financially wiser decisions now. I’ll only buy new if a game is from a series I already enjoy, or I’m almost certain that I will love it (Pokemon is a good, recent example).

I still haven’t bought the Transformers game, for the simple reason that used Wii games still cost out the butt.

I’ve been buying DS games. I’m not going to bother with SMG, you know how I feel about Mario.

Ghostbusters really deserves a good game. We only have to watch Mr. Rolfe’s 3 part review to see that they have consistantly gotten the shaft.
