😀 *So happy* And the Ultimecia battles weren’t very difficult either, payed of leveling Quistis and Squall to 100 and Rinoa to atleast 88! I loved the ending, the reason I was so determined to finish FFVIII. Yay! Now 3 FF games I’ve finished ^_^

Yeah, i realy felt like i did something BIG when i beat it…….WOW.
well, as long as you see the end of the game, it is worth a "congratulations" to yourself but if you’ve beaten omega weapon and did all the minigames and did all the stuff in the game, therefore it’s worth a "congratulations" to yourself and a pat in the back and probably a sundae ice cream.

Congrats on beating the game! I felt the same way when I finished FFVIII for the first time too. Of course I was still new at FF so I did’nt beat Omega Weapon til my 4th playthrough, but still I felt like I accomplished something. =)
Well Done but u aint finished it till u killed omega weapon imho.

lol thanks though! Woah is omega weapon really hard?
lol thanks though! Woah is omega weapon really hard?
yes, he’s hard. he does this attack called "terra break" that does a lot of damage to your characters. one of the most challenging bosses ever created for a final fantasy, but nemesis from ffx is still more of an ass than omega weapon from ff8.

Nemisis is a lot harder but omega is the hardest on ff8 and just damn annoying dur to his high h.p

they say that his hp is at least one million if you fight him and your characters are in level 100. so probably, omega’s hp is lower if your characters’ levels are lower…
Yep it is about a million I think.
I only ever killed him once that was enough for me.
I think I was at it for about an hour and used up almost 30 heros and 7 holy wars.
I would recommened doing it but Make sure u got time and heros or if he does 2 terra breaks ur screwed

well, you can mostly survive terra break if your spirit is at least over 200…

Ohh, but what’s the *point* of killing Omega Weapon besides the satisfactory of knowing you can prolly beat the game with those big skills? I hate it when I think about stuff like that, like "what’s the point of playing the game, what’s it gonna do?"
the point of it is that you’ve completed every task that has to be done in ff8(sidequests, omega weapon, chocobo minigame, etc.). that’s how you beat the game, well not just seeing the ending, but also completing every task there is in the game.
