It is now 2207 and we are about to enter the FX400 Racing League. Some of you here at the shrine who are from Europe (I think also Australia) get to enjoy the game now, but they still haven’t announced a release date for us in the states. I managed to get my hands on a demo through my EU PlayStation store (http://store.playstation.com) account and I’m already loving this game more then Pure and soon I’ll be importing it since the PSP is not region locked. Anyone who is new to this new gem but not to the series will notice some great new features they’ve added since WipeOut Pure.
– You can now access and play all of your MP3s on your PSP during game play.
– Multiplayer supports both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure mode for online gaming.
– Custom skins can be made and uploaded to your PSP through the official WipeOut website*
*Official WipeOut site where you can create an account through the PlayStation Network to share racing stats, pledge your team allegiance and even customize your own ship to upload and play in the full version of the game. Since this is all done through the PlayStation Network, Anyone with an existing account through a PS3, like myself (ixnine) and Raidenex (RaidenexS) is already signed up.
