Why Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings dont have soundtrack??

I cant understand. Square always released osts for every FF game…

Good question..
I suppose a fair bit of RW’s music is just reworking of XII’s soundtrack, which would result in a drop in quality.
That said, I haven’t played RW since when it came out (wasn’t impressed), so for all I know it had a completely new soundtrack. In which case, who knows why they wouldn’t release it!!

They didn’t bother to release an OST for Revenant Wings, because the game contains the exact same songs from FFXII, just lowered in quality of course, with only a few new tracks. I personally think that some of the FFXII songs in Revenant Wings actually sound better than they do in FFXII itself, but Square probably didn’t think making an OST was worth the effort.
