One thing that bugged me in FFX-2 was the menu screen (the Triangle Menu). It felt pretty slow for me and it had too much fancy stuff…. I like FFX’s regular just Fade In menu and just do my business there.

What do you think of this thing? :O

Personally, I didn’t notice anything wrong with it… But then again, my memory of the game is fuzzy with all the studying I’ve been doing recently.

I REALLY should’ve scheduled a week or two in my project for playing Final Fantasy X-2.

Hmm, I don’t really remember having any special issues with the menu one way or the other.

I liked it, i wasn’t entirely sure whether or not the swirling yellow/green light thingies were needed, but overall it looked cool, I really liked the "animation" of the map, although it lags sometimes. That said, the menu in X was nicer, cleaner, and simpler.

You are not alone in your mindset. It did get me rather aggrevated from time to time. Going from abilities to figure out which jobs you still haven’t mastered, to garment grids to equip new garment grids with the jobs you need, to the equip menu to equip the grid and job, and back to the abilities menu to chose what you want to learn first. Just seems way to time consuming. Don’t get me wrong, I like the game in all of its aspects. It just seemed like a little time consuming from time to time.
