i like misato too! she’s such a slob! i like the episode where misato’s theme is on ans shinji is eating toast, pen pen is eating a fish, and the first time, she walks in and drinks a beer,
but the second time, same music, shinji’s eating toast, pen pen’s eating his fish, and misato comes in fully dressed, shinji suddenly stopped eating and the fish drops out of pen pen’s mouth! so funnie!! XD
Kensuke also gives alot of hillarity to the series, with and without toji

My vote goes to Shinji – although all of my friends who watch Eva just think he’s a whiny bitch, I can understand his struggle – his parents died/abandoned him early in life, and he only meets his father again when his father puts him into danger. He feels abandoned, and is stuggling to find his lot in life.
It’s a beautiful struggle – and I especially like the dynamic between Shinji and Asuka. It’s the most ‘real’ relationship i’ve ever felt in an anime.
