Who is Cissnei?

I’m just curious; why does Cissnei allude to having been a false identity the entire time you knew her in Crisis Core, yet never appears again? "Cissnei" is not her real name as she reveals, yet who is she? She’s an interesting character and it’s odd that her story gets no further exploration :/

If I remember right, Cissnei’s backstory is covered in greater detail in the Japan-only mobile phone game FFVII: Before Crisis, which is also the reason for why she says ‘Cissnei’ is not her real name in Crisis Core, as in Before Crisis she, along with all the other player-controlled Turks in the game, can be named whatever the player wants, but are identified by their weapon as default – Cissnei’s default name is ‘Shuriken’ for obvious reasons.

Sadly though I haven’t heard anything more about a possible international release/port for FFVII: BC so I guess for the foreseeable future Cissnei will remain an enigma.
